"Our family gathered in Tucson, all 9 of us, for a special occasion. People thought we were crazy for going in the summer! But what a beautiful place. Everyone thought it was perfect. The kids loved the donkeys, who were so sweet. We had plenty of space to be together - or apart. The bed space and bathrooms worked out really well. It was located so well for getting around Tucson for shopping or sightseeing. The owners were very hospitable and accommodating. This is definitely a place we would stay again. The outside areas and pool were fabulous and so many great places for picture taking. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended."

location location location, great value for the area.
"This home is wonderfully located. Great views, close to Mount Lemon, Sabino canyon areas. The sunrises and sunsets are awesome. It is very quiet, (when there is no construction :). The area is stunning in its natural beauty. Great walks right out the door. The pool and hot tub at the clubhouse are very nice and not crowded. The house is well maintained and clean, the master bed comfortable . If you are into stainless steele, granite and pottery barn decore, this is not for you ,the ammeneties are very basic. The cable TV has few channels, the internet would not support my firestick but ok for other uses. The owner easy to deal with and resposive. Over all, a great value for the area. We would love to return."

"My father and I came to Tucson for a family member's graduation from the U of A. The home worked out perfectly for the two of us and was a lovely gathering place for coffee in the morning and a beer in the afternoon with relatives that stayed at La Paloma and with locals from Tucson. The single story, no stairs house was comfortable and accessible. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful view. Hope to return someday."

"I have stayed at the Starr Pass casitas for at least 12 years with my old college roommates for a fun golf weekend. Since we all attended the University of Arizona, they always enjoy coming back to the Old Pueblo. I have always rented in the past through the corporation that owns the casitas. This year I went on to VRBO and found the 2-bedroom Owl casita. The owner was very communicative and informative about arrival, things to do, etc. The difference was noticeable immediately. It was fully furnished, with many of the extra niceties not offered by the corporate rentals. The sheets were higher quality and the location and patio were wonderful for outdoor relaxation. We had a family of 10 Javelinas stroll by one evening while on the patio-and that was a sight to be seen. Great views, great times, great golf........awesome!
Since I live in Tucson a few suggestions: Restaurants: Vivace-best restaurant in town/El Charro downtown (close by) for great Mexican food, Golf: play Sewailo, Dove Mountain and Ventana Canyon."
