"We stayed in this unit for 6 weeks, and found it to be very nicely furnished, with lots of extras, like extra paper products and paperbacks, etc. The owners were very easy to work with and responsive to our questions. The complex is quiet and well maintained, with a lovely pool and hot tub. The patio faces north, so it didn't catch much of the winter sun. The community dumpster was near the front of the unit, and the trash was collected twice/week early in the morning. The complex is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and many of the hiking trails in the Catalinas and Sabino Canyon."

"The view was just awesome. Since we were there to help out family, we did not have much time at the house, but it was just wonderful to come home to in the evening. The house was amazing and very clean. The owner was really on top of everything. He made sure everything was ok. and was patient with our last minute booking. He answered all our questions in a timely manner. We felt like we knew him even though we never met him personally."

"This house is in a convenient, lovely area and is very comfortable, very clean and inviting. The pool and pool area are very nice and relaxing. Mike had all we needed and more - dishes, towels, condiments, even a coffee grinder! Oh, and there were lots of books. Didn't watch the videos, but enough channels on tv. Mike was easily accessible when I had a few questions (no problems at all - just couldn't find the portacrib which was in the closet, and asked if we could check in earlier). He even gave us a good recommendation for seafood that was close by. We all (husband, adult children and 20 month old granddaughter) were very comfortable and so glad we stayed here. I would highly recommend this house. Thank you, Mike! If we are in Tucson again, we hope your home will be available."

"Casa Encantada is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a great location. Thank you, Gary, for sharing. We spent ten days there the end of April/beginning of May this year. The house itself is a marvelous classic adobe-style house dressed up with Barragan-inspired interior colors, a phantasmagorical mosaic in the bathroom and an extensive collection of wooden, clay and etc. figures, creatures and critters scattered throughout. The setting is lovely, the surrounding desert a superb mix of native plants with Sombrero Peak looming in the distance. We were lucky enough to be there when the Palo Verde were in bloom, so both the area around the house and the flanks of the mountains in the distance to the west and south were covered with their yellow blooms -- a truly marvelous time to be there. Of course we were in the hot tub every afternoon following busy days doing this and that. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking (with every pot, pan and gadget you could wish for), which we did every night but one with provisions from Food City, our favorite market. The master bedroom was comfortable and the living room perfect for evening reading (lounging and stretch-out space, well lit). All in all, a perfectly marvelous place to recover from an active day and spend a restful evening. We recommend Casa Encantada without reservation and look forward to returning."
