"My husband and I and another friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kathleen's comfortable guest house. The weather was uncharacteristically chilly but we were warm and cozy inside. Great beds, interesting artwork and architectural details. Everything was very clean and since we'd been on the road a couple of weeks it was nice to have a washer. The house is only used as a rental, not as a primary residence, so it has the open feeling of a hotel, with the added bonus of being able to make coffee in the mornings, do some light cooking and assemble picnics for hikes. With two nice bedrooms, it's really big enough for 3-4 adults to stay very comfortably. Great value for the price!"

Awesome home with incredible views of the city and mountains and also sunrises and sunsets
"This has become our home away from home the past 2 years. It is tastefully decorated and has privacy and security to offer. The downstairs bedroom has a great king size bed and one awakens to beautiful sunrises and offers privacy when family or friends are in the upstairs bedrooms. The incredible view of the city and mountains are apparent when you walk in the front door. It is only about 20 minutes away from all of the cultural events that Tucson has to offer. Many restaurants are nearby and an upscale Mall is also close. The entire area surrounding Tucson offers exciting and varied sites for any and all types of people. It is perfect for family reunions, or for any reason that people get together. The owners have been very helpful and are easy to approach if you need to have anything done. It is obvious that we love staying here and hope to for many years to come."

"What an amazing stay! I brought Chinese colleagues here to experience my 'old home'. I came from Tucson 35 years ago. The beautiful desert has not changed, so timeless. The Sunset house, unobtrusively nestled into that desert. The feel of the home leaves you at one with the desert. The floor plan allowed each person to have their own room and private bath. Loved the courtyard in the middle. My room had a private outside entrance so I could go out unnoticed to enjoy the hot tub..yes, in the early mornings, sun rise, quail calling, beautiful sky! The kitchen, fully outfitted. I would return to find my colleagues had prepared traditional Chinese breakfast. They too felt the peacefulness of home, the connection to simpler times and the happy family eating around the big dining table. We had full moon, night walks, constant picture taking. Constant amazement over how beautiful, how pristine, magically quiet. So thorough was this stay for filling my need for home, and my guests' need for quiet beauty, that we all, for all our own reasons, were reluctant to leave. Many thank you's, Karen, for sharing your home with us. Yes, I will return."
