"We were extremely happy with our rental. The condo exceeded our expectations. The view was great. Everything we needed was there. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Easy to get everywhere from where you are. We had two couples sharing the space. Separate bathrooms and shower was nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Tucson."

"After just experiencing a "Not Wonderful" lodging in another city, Garcia House was such a treat. It really was like staying with a friend. The Casita was so comfortable. The bed was great, the kitchen had everything & more. My dog & I really enjoyed the screened in porch. I think my dog made a new friend. It was so relaxing. Fran was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, sightseeing help & general info. I will definitely be back. Thank you Fran, for everything."

"Casa Encantada is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a great location. Thank you, Gary, for sharing. We spent ten days there the end of April/beginning of May this year. The house itself is a marvelous classic adobe-style house dressed up with Barragan-inspired interior colors, a phantasmagorical mosaic in the bathroom and an extensive collection of wooden, clay and etc. figures, creatures and critters scattered throughout. The setting is lovely, the surrounding desert a superb mix of native plants with Sombrero Peak looming in the distance. We were lucky enough to be there when the Palo Verde were in bloom, so both the area around the house and the flanks of the mountains in the distance to the west and south were covered with their yellow blooms -- a truly marvelous time to be there. Of course we were in the hot tub every afternoon following busy days doing this and that. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking (with every pot, pan and gadget you could wish for), which we did every night but one with provisions from Food City, our favorite market. The master bedroom was comfortable and the living room perfect for evening reading (lounging and stretch-out space, well lit). All in all, a perfectly marvelous place to recover from an active day and spend a restful evening. We recommend Casa Encantada without reservation and look forward to returning."

"We really enjoyed staying at this house. I gave it 5 stars because we had extraordinary wildlife sightings on the property. Because the house is deep in the Catalina Foothills, these sightings are a possibility, but not a guaranteed event. If you want to have a spectacular view of the Old Pueblo, this is the place to stay. We enjoyed the start of monsoon season by receiving a spectacular thunderstorm. The house is quiet and very comfortable. If you like to cook for yourself, the kitchen is functional, however the stove is electric and takes a little getting used to. It's a modern stove, but we are used to gas. Hardly a problem though! The property is well maintained. There are many shops and restaurants very near by. I would suggest having a car, because Tucson is rather spread out and you need one to visits all of the major attractions. The house is a great place for a single family retreat or for a small group of people. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect for cooling off in. We would definitely come back and stay here again."
