"We rented this grand home for just over a week to attend a family wedding. The house is exactly as described, expansive, well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated. The view from the kitchen window is stunning. Our family made frequent and daily use of the pool and hot tub. The house accommodated a post wedding family BBQ very nicely. Booking the house went very smoothly, Evelyn and Marc are very responsive. On arrival, Marc came by and explained the intricacies of the house to us, he was very pleasant and not in the least intrusive. The air-conditioning was a perfect temperature and we never heard the neighbors. The views of the mountains are breath taking, the landscaping nicely cared for. There is a very pleasant sitting area out front where we had our morning coffee or afternoon tea. The kitchen has everything you could possible want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. As mentioned by another reviewer, this house is truly a dream house which we hope we can return to next year. It's a perfect spot for a family vacation. Simply bring your bathing suit and enjoy!"

"Casa Amapola was a great house for the five of us who gathered there from three states for a weeklong family Christmas celebration – as well as the two of us who stayed on for another couple of weeks to enjoy its tranquility at the edge of the desert. The owners have created an exciting and at the same time comfortable space inside and out with their intriguing art objects throughout the house and the lovely cactus garden in a private poolside patio area behind it. Our dog enjoyed spending much of his days in that enclosed area – and so did we, especially because of the dramatic view it offered of the mountains. While the quiet neighborhood is so far out toward the desert that we spotted coyotes and a family of javelinas, its closeness to the interstate allowed us to quickly be in the center of Tucson – a great combination."

"After renting in several locations in Tucson over the years, we were happy to find this beautiful home on HomeAway. The owner was very accommodating and provided everything we could want. The most spectacular views can be seen from the pool deck, of the Catalina Mountains and the Tucson city lights. We enjoyed watching the hourly changes, and most of all, the beautiful sunsets. We used the heated community pool almost daily. We enjoyed the wildlife in the area: deer, coyotes, hummingbirds, hawks, rabbits, roadrunners and quail.
The location of the home is convenient for shopping (Whole Foods and Safeway) and for revisiting the many attractions Tucson has to offer: DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, Sabino Canyon, Sajuaro National Park, Old Town Artisans, Tubac and the many museums and galleries downtown.
We look forward to returning in 2015!"

"What an amazing stay. There are no negatives to Hacienda Tucson. Beautiful house, property.....Constance is incredibly attentive to every detail. If you love nature, this is the place to go. We will definitely return, we're only sorry we didn't stay longer."
