  • Outstanding property for athletes training in Tucson!

"I brought several coached triathletes of mine to Tucson for a training camp and we stayed in this house AND the owner's equally perfect rental house directly across the street (#436693) for the duration of our camp. The houses were very clean, roomy, and well-decorated, and the location was IDEAL for our rides (including Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Gates Pass, Rillito River Path), runs (including Phone Line, Seven Falls, and Starr Pass trails, Rillito River Path), and swims (JCC pool). The area is an excellent training ground for all multisport athletes and Tucson has become a hotbed of endurance sports with the world's largest triathlon retailer, TriSports.com, located only a short bike ride (7 mi) away from this house. For anyone in good physical condition, you can walk to pretty much anything you need from this address (grocery stores, pharmacies, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Chipotle, Target, Arizona Shuttle bus drop-off point on Speedway Blvd., etc.). HIGHLY recommended. Thanks!!"

  • Starr Pass is the place to be!

"Having lived in Tucson in the mid 80s (before Starr Pass was developed) I thought the Catalina Foothills was the nicest area. I stand corrected. Starr Pass is where you want to be. It is a short drive to the University, the newly improved downtown area, Gates Pass and arguably the most beautiful area on earth, Saguaro National Monument. The Owl Casista is spacious, well appointed, nicely decorated and the beds and linens were top notch! While I did not golf, the course looked remarkable! It is a huge plus having convenient access to the Marriott. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is remarkable and reasonably priced. It is a nature lovers dream. Just off the porch we saw wild quail, humming birds and a couple of coyotes. The owner is super responsive. When my wife forgot her hair dryer, I texted her asking if they had one. To my surprise, one was delivered to our door hours later! I will definitely be back!!!"

  • Great place to stay

"This was my second stay at the Pastime Suites, the first being five years ago. I must say that Cindy and Gregg have done a great job of maintaining the premises. It is as nice now as it was then. The unit was clean and well-equiped. Everything is as described in the listing. Also, it is convenient to downtown, the university, I-10, shopping, dining, and activities. For an extended stay in Tucson, it would be hard to beat. Cindy and Gregg are also super hosts, responsive, and easy to deal with from start to finish. I hope to rent from them again."
