"Only one word can define our stay here: PERFECT. Cynthia provided a beautiful location to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in sheer beauty and tranquility. The colors displayed by the natural setting of the desert are not exaggerated and are visible daily, with amazing sun rises and sets, thunderstorms with rainbows and glowing stars at night. The charming luminosa house has every detail guests need to feel beyond comfortable. Exceptionally clean and furnished with everything to make our stay complete and carefree (e.g. fantastic reading material on the Saguaro desert, pool towels, wonderfully homemade bath soap, and spices for cooking). Guests can easily unwind and enjoy birdwatching, water color painting, reading, meditation and eating with family/friends on the porch of the casita (which we loved doing everyday). Our young daughter enjoyed looking at the wildlife and drew multiple pictures of cacti, while identifying different kinds of animals she saw with books provided in the house.
Without any hesitation, we would return again and hope to do so again in the near future. Thank you Cynthia for your kindness, hospitality and making our anniversary a truly magical experience."

"Love the Owl Casita! The location is wonderful. You walk out the door and you are on your way to hikes in the hills or just open the slider and enjoy the wildlife. Saw my first road runner there. A short drive and you're on the U of A campus, go Cats, or on 4th Street. We have stayed here at least five times and have always been happy with our choice. In fact I just wrote the owner about a weekend for the fall."

"This home has it all! I planned this trip as a mini vacation so my son and daughter - in - law and two granddaughters age 4 and 8 could learn about the desert where I lived when I was a little girl. It was also a great time for my parents to meet up and stay with us at the property for a few days as well. The property owner, as well as property manager were most responsive and this has been one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The home is just like "home away from home"; comfortable beds, lots of seating outdoors and indoors, toys for the young ones, refreshing swimming pool all located in a great part of town. The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous and teeming with constant activity--quail, rabbits, lizards, and mourning doves are some of the wildlife you'll enjoy from the front porch. Everyone in our group, from age 4 to 80 had the best experience during our stay at the property. We are all planning a return visit to Tucson, and look forward to staying at the property again!"

"I almost didn’t write a review for this “one of a kind” rental that has everything you would want and need when visiting the Tucson area. I would rather keep it a secret because the less people that know about it the better chance I will have to rent it again next winter. I would run out of room telling you everything that we found good about this home but will try to sum it up in a couple of paragraphs.
First of all I’ve never personally met the owner (Guy) but have talked with him several times over the phone. Guy is an owner who is easily reached and who would bend over backwards to make your vacation a memorable one. We visited Tucson in early March 2015 when the temperatures are usually not warm enough to justify turning on the solar heat for the swimming pool. When Guy learned that my two young Grandsons would be visiting he sent his maintenance man Robert over to turn on the heat and get the pool up and running. The solar heating system worked great and the pool temperature warmed up to a comfortable level within a couple of days. And I can’t say enough about Guy’s right hand man Robert. Besides getting the pool going Robert had to make a minor repair during our stay. Robert is a capable, considerate and friendly man who is easy to get along with. Guy your lucky to have a gentleman like Robert taking care of your home.
Guy’s home had everything we needed and more. The home is so large that even with a full house there was plenty of room if one needed “their own space” to get away for awhile. This home is furnished with everything as described. What you don’t get from the description is how beautiful the views are and the great location in NE Tucson. The home offers first class views of the Sonoran Desert and the Catalina Mountains from not only your patio but form several windows in the home. Your only minutes away from Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon, both of which I would recommend seeing. We loved the convenient location which is in a quiet residential area only a short distance from major roads. All your shopping is only a few minute drive from the house. Our family will never forget our daily morning and evening walks in the neighborhood where we seldom seen neighbors out or cars on the road.
Thank you Guy for letting our family enjoy your home. We look forward to a longer stay next winter."
