  • Peaceful setting, great house and great location

"First, the owners were very helpful. Met us at the home when we arrived from the airport. Showed us the home and familiarized us with everything. The home is just as advertised comfortable, well maintained, clean with impressive and beautiful landscaping. Be sure to ask Kimberly for her recommended list of places to visit - she and husband, Bob have lived in Tucson forever and know everything. Kimberly also maintains a binder with nearby restaurants - be sure to try the Carne Asada at nearby Zivaz Mexican Bistro. This is a very casual bistro with great food. We stayed here with our daughter and 6 month old grand daughter so used all three rooms - Kimberly also had a crib for baby. Couldn't have been more comfortable. Oh, if bychance, you are a golfer, you might be able to arrange a game with Kimberly's husband, Bob....but I would recommend betting with him....I think he plays on the Senior PGA tour in disguise! IN summary, you'll not meet nicer folks to rent your vacation home in Tucson. BTW, I'd recommend a rental car because Tucson is spread out and you will want to visit the nearby tourist attractions."

  • We had a wonderful stay!

"We spent two nights here and it was just wonderful. We were close to everything and it was so easy to find from Speedway. We were impressed with the all the nice details/amenities like the blow dryer and iron! Some VRBOs that we have stayed at did not provide these things. We met Carole the day we left and she was wonderful, Gary is great as well and very helpful. We are going to stay again!"

  • Red December

"We loved our stay at the VRBO. It is in a great location near the Catalina Mountains. Our patio looked out over an open expanse of desert with quail and other birds in the underbrush. The floor plan was great with the divided bedrooms and two bathrooms. Joanne was there to greet us when we arrived and everything was clean and in order except for the DVD player. The unit was close to the heated pool and hot tub which we used almost every day and the tread mill in the workout room was a quality brand. We enjoyed Sabino Canyon, hiking in the national parks, the Desert Museum, Titan II Missile, Pimo Air Museum, and Mission south of Tuscon. The weather was great and lots of activities for us be as active or leisurely as we wanted."

  • Great house in a great location

"The house was wonderfully furnished and spotlessly clean. What you see in the pictures and read in the description are exactly what you get. This place exceeded all our expectations. The king sized bed in the master was more comfortable than our bed at home. This was the best VRBO facility that we have stayed in to date. Our purpose in visiting Tucson was to hike and take pictures in Saguaro National Park and the surrounding area. We wanted a place to stay that was close to the city but not in the middle of it. This place was in the perfect location for us. Located in the foothills near the Catalina highway, it had plenty of outdoor space but was close to stores and restaurants. A 15 minute drive brought you to the visitors' center at the eastern section of Saguaro National Park. When we arrived, we were greeted by a family of 8 or 10 Harris Hawks perched in a tree in front of the house. Wildlife was plentiful including deer, rabbits, roadrunners, quail and a multitude of other species of birds feeding at the numerous bird feeders in the back yard. This area also has some of the best hiking and biking opportunities we have experienced anywhere. For sightseeing, a trip to Summerhaven at the top of Mt. Lemmon (elevation of 8,000+ feet) is a must. Or, if you are up to it, you can bike the 27 miles to the top. For hiking, be sure to check out the topographical map of the Coronado National Forest in the basket on the bookshelf. You can't go wrong with this place."
