  • A wonderful vacation home in Tucson

"This is a lovely home, spacious, immaculate, and fully-equipped, located within the gated Ventana Country Club. The grounds and views are truly spectacular, and the little assistance wee needed was provided promptly and smilingly by our host, Jason. Totally memorable!."

  • So good, I came back for another stay!

"I originally stayed rented out the Hacienda Hideout while I was in grad school back in 2009, and I loved it so much that I promised myself I'd come back at some point. Although that was five years ago, I finally made it back, and I am still in love with this place. Even though I was an older student when I stayed here the first time, this place was/is like the ultimate getaway and is a great place to stay for weekend trips, a romantic getaway, or for the ultimate snowbirds. Each time I came home, I felt like I was escaping from the city! It is a cute little guest house on a ranch just yards away from the main house with stunning views of the mountains on the eastern and western sides. You are essentially surrounded by nature-- a saguaro and barrel cacti outside your window and depending on the season, you might see a fox, javelina, hummingbirds, deer, or owls in the yard! The house is a designed in a very traditional Southwestern style with polished concrete flooring, sturdy hardwood and quality leather furniture, authentic Southwestern decorations, and includes a washer and dryer! There is a back patio with an amazing view of the mountains and is great for breakfast and enjoying the sunsets. You don't want to miss out on this one! The location is perfect, too! It is also conveniently close to Gates Pass-- allowing easy access to watch the sun rise and set everyday if you wish along with the Saguaro National Park (west side), the Desert Museum, and old Tucson. Downtown is close by and there is a farmer's market along with several grocery stores nearby, as well. The landlords are amazing, too-- very down-to-earth, friendly, and accomodating people-- they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I asked if the guesthouse had a juicer, and they bought one! I have rented guesthouses all over the country, and I have to say that this place is my favorite of all. Trust me on this one, folks-- you don't want to miss out!"

  • Relaxing in the Casita

"My wife and I and our 18 month old son stayed at the Casita for a week this past December and enjoyed it immensely. The Casita was spacious and private, with gorgeous desert views, visiting wildlife, a comfortable hot tub and hiking near by. We spent the days hiking, enjoyed the desert museum and several local restaurants. Often we would cook and eat at home, enjoying the sunsets over a glass of wine. I can confirm that the charcoal grill works fine as we spent an afternoon smoking ribs and watching college football. The owners graciously provided a pack-and-play for our son--they live next door and were readily available by phone. It was a peaceful and private place to relax for our family, we can recommend it without reservation."

  • Enjoyed Tucson

"The condo was clean and ready for our arrival to sunny Tucson. We were impressed with the amount of space. The view of Sabino Canyon through the living room windows was beautiful. The condo provided plenty of room for the six of us. The pool area was easily accessible, never crowded and provided great cushioned chairs. We thought the location of the condo was perfect. Nanette was very helpful, provided valuable information and made the entire process of renting, signing the agreement and payment effortless. Our only suggestion....more cable channels. Perhaps extended basic coverage with CNN, ESPN, TNT, TBS, Food Channel and others would have been nice for the early morning and late at night viewing. We did take advantage of the DVD player to catch up on movies. We enjoyed our stay in Tucson and did not want it to end. Nanette and the condo were wonderful. We'll be back!"
