  • It's a wonderful life

"We loved our stay in this spacious, yet cozy home located in the Catalina foothills. It had all the amenities one could wish for in a place away from home including a lovely patio that was great for a quiet cup of coffee or entertaining guests for Happy Hour! It was also close to a couple of plaza's that met all our needs - good restaurants, grocery and beauty shops, a bike shop and a park that offered walking and jogging areas within short walking distance. We were left with names and numbers of people to contact if there were any troubles with the house (there weren't) but the owners periodically kept in touch, making sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We were able to contact them on a moment's notice when I needed a recommendation for a dentist. It's these little things that make such a huge difference. For everything else there may be Master Card but a beautiful home plus personalized attention - priceless!"

"The property was exactly as described on the VRBO website. Photos of the interior and exterior where very accurate. The house was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. All the appliances worked, nothing needed repair, this may sound like a given, but in the past I have had to repair toilets and door locks. Called property owners to repair an AC, water heater, faulty circuit breaker and baseboard heater. So I really appreciate not having to do any that. Robert was very accommodating he let us check in a day early, due to a change in our plans. We highly recommend this secluded and quiet home."

  • Great Golf!

"We rented this condo from Marianne for a month and it was terrific - well equipped, clean, and a great location. The availability of a month-long membership at the resort made it for us; we had unlimited golf and exercise privileges and it made for a great vacation. Marianne was thoughtful about leaving directions to stores and restaurants and the condo really did have everything we needed and other activities like hiking and biking were nearby. We have used VRBO several times and this really terrific. Thank you, Marianne!"

  • A Little Slice of Heaven

"We enjoyed two weeks in the perfectly appointed, very comfortable Sombrero Casita in the Tucson Mountains, thanks to our hosts Chris and Roger. The location was perfect for our needs, with shopping, hiking, and exploring all within easy driving distance. The selection of restaurants nearby is great, which made it easy on the nights we didn't feel like cooking. The pool was glorious on the hot, sunny September days. The covered patios were perfect for lounging both morning and evening, with great mountain views and the air filled with the sounds of birds chattering and singing. The casita is located far enough from Tucson proper that we felt like we were away from the crowds, but close enough to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer. We look forward to being able to return someday to enjoy the peace and serenity offered at the Sombrero Casita! Thank you so much, Chris and Roger. It was so nice to get to know you and we truly appreciate all of the kindness and hospitality you extended to us."
