  • Starr Pass is the place to be!

"Having lived in Tucson in the mid 80s (before Starr Pass was developed) I thought the Catalina Foothills was the nicest area. I stand corrected. Starr Pass is where you want to be. It is a short drive to the University, the newly improved downtown area, Gates Pass and arguably the most beautiful area on earth, Saguaro National Monument. The Owl Casista is spacious, well appointed, nicely decorated and the beds and linens were top notch! While I did not golf, the course looked remarkable! It is a huge plus having convenient access to the Marriott. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is remarkable and reasonably priced. It is a nature lovers dream. Just off the porch we saw wild quail, humming birds and a couple of coyotes. The owner is super responsive. When my wife forgot her hair dryer, I texted her asking if they had one. To my surprise, one was delivered to our door hours later! I will definitely be back!!!"

  • Best Sitting Porch

"This house has the best porch in Tucson!! It runs the length of the house and faces a desert landscaped yard. We had quail, rabbits and squirrels (yes there are squirrels in the desert!!) come right up to where we were sitting on the porch. What a great way to start your day…a cup of coffee and desert wildlife entertainment. The house itself was extremely quiet and perfect for us and our extended family. It was a charming quiet and secure house that had convenience to everything that we wanted to do in Tucson. I was the perfect "home" for our wedding weekend!"

  • Perfect for adults who want a quiet private home

"My second one month stay in the past two years. Suggest you read the review by Cam. All that he said is correct and I will update and add a little. The owners have completed construction of their house which is attached to the Casita. In no way does this impede upon the privacy of the residents in the Casita. Ro and Dave live next door and are rarely seen. The Casita has every facility, its own patio and BBQ and every TV channel you could desire. The perfect location for one or two adults for a long stay who are active hikers or cyclists and or those wanting a self catering, tranquil location for reading, sitting in the sun and touring the Tucson area. Safeway is a 7 min drive with a wide selection of restaurants within 7 to 30 min drive. Don't hesitate book now and enjoy Tucson. Colin, Canada"
