  • A month in Tucson

"We spent the month of November at this condo and had a wonderful time. It is furnished with a south western flair, lots of room, and a well appointed kitchen. The balcony has great views of the Catalina foothills with lots of hummingbirds to enjoy. We believe it to be in the best location in the Tucson area and highly recommend it to all. The owners are very helpful and provided a wealth of tourist information. The area has numerous restaurants, shopping areas, and easy access to hiking trails and all sight seeing attractions such as the Sabino Canyon. Tucson is our favorite vacation spot and we have now found the ideal condo in which to stay."

  • The mountains are gorgeous and so is the condo.

"We had a great stay in Deborah's unit in The Pinnacle Canyon Condominiums. The unit is clean and well-furnished, the beds are comfortably firm, and there is plenty of water pressure. Wireless internet and cable TV both work well. Deborah answered all our questions promptly and was very professional to deal with. We loved the pool area; it has beautiful landscaping and super comfortable lounge chairs. There are shade trees as well as palm trees, a large lighted gazebo with a ceiling fan, a huge outdoor fireplace with couches and easy chairs, and two barbeque pits. The pool itself has fountains along one side and the hot tub was nice and warm. (This complex appears to have more verdant landscaping than others we saw. In fact, from the satellite view of Google Maps, it's the only green area for miles around.) You have to enter the complex through the gate on Sunrise Drive, but you can exit through the gate on Territory Drive to easily reach the shopping area next door. There is a Basha's (similar to Safeway), Subway, Papa John’s Pizza, and six or seven sit-down restaurants. Highlights of our trip include: the tram ride up the Sabino Canyon Trail, view of the sunset from Gates Pass in Tucson Mountain Park, the Flaundrau Planetarium and Mineral Museum, and Tohono Chul Park. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous and we spent a lot of time driving around the foothills."

  • Wonderful Accomodations

"I have stayed at the Castle apartments 3 times so far in the past year and have several more trips planned. I do long business trips to the U of A and the Castle's location is perfect for this, I keep my rental car in the private parking lot, but walk to and from the University each day so I don't have to be hassled with parking on campus. I have stayed in both the studio and 1 bedroom apartments and both are great. They are clean, well appointed and have all the comforts of home away from home. Zack and Amy, the owners are great, they are easy to communicate with through email and are extremely flexible, my first trip out I arrived late and they were there to meet me and welcome me and explain everything. I have had several great trips to the Castle Apartments and look forward to more!"

  • Elegant Foothills Casita--Relax in the Real Tucson

"My husband and I just spent 8 enjoyable days at this charming and beautiful guesthouse, situated next to an historic 1930's Pueblo-style house built on several desert acres. The sophisticated Casita (with decor reminiscent of a New York City apartment) is well outfitted; everything you might need has been provided. No need for an emergency run to the market for a wine opener or laundry soap! The hosts are gracious and helpful but respect your privacy. Lovely patio area; stunning Catalina views from the living and dining areas. Immaculately kept. Surrounded by an exquisitely manicured desert garden. The best "Old Foothills" location, close to everything."
