  • Outstanding property for athletes training in Tucson!

"I brought several coached triathletes of mine to Tucson for a training camp and we stayed in this house AND the owner's equally perfect rental house directly across the street (#436693) for the duration of our camp. The houses were very clean, roomy, and well-decorated, and the location was IDEAL for our rides (including Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Gates Pass, Rillito River Path), runs (including Phone Line, Seven Falls, and Starr Pass trails, Rillito River Path), and swims (JCC pool). The area is an excellent training ground for all multisport athletes and Tucson has become a hotbed of endurance sports with the world's largest triathlon retailer, TriSports.com, located only a short bike ride (7 mi) away from this house. For anyone in good physical condition, you can walk to pretty much anything you need from this address (grocery stores, pharmacies, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Chipotle, Target, Arizona Shuttle bus drop-off point on Speedway Blvd., etc.). HIGHLY recommended. Thanks!!"

  • If you want to wake up to a beautiful view, look no further.

"The house is stunning. Plenty of room for the 4 of us that were there, plus 2-3 more if we needed. The master bedroom is made for this house, it includes full bath, a seperate shower, double vanity and great window views of the valley and hillside. Living room has a unique view looking up at the rock ledge (where we viewed a wild bobcat stroll by in early evening). Great patio of the desert hillside. The Kitchen was stocked with more essentials than expected, great appliances, and corresponding dining area all were clean, with great styling and had good space for us. The views are stunning. When you sleep in the master bedroom, you can wake up, step out onto the master bedroom balcony and view the entire Tuscon valley as the sun rises. You can also see the lap pool on the property with your own walkway down to it. In general, you'll feel like you live in the mountains and with the desert nature. At night, it was quiet and still (outside of a few crickets and the javelina scurrying in the residential area down below). And provided the sky is clear of clouds, you'll have some pretty amazing views of the stars at night from this house."

  • Perfectly located house, clean with everything you need

"The house was clean, quiet, comfortable and provided total privacy. It was close to shopping, restaurants, and provided easy access to Tucson attractions. For the bicycle or running enthusiasts, it's close proximity to Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon and the surrounding area provide unlimited opportunities. After a long day out, it was the perfect place to call home and to cook a meal and relax. The hosts, Rex and Rita were both warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommended."

  • Casita Luminosa

"All the positive reviews helped us decide to spend our vacation at the Luminosa, and it more than lived up to expectations. The casita is lovingly and tastefully decorated with great attention to comfort. The setting is spectacular, surrounded by majestic saguaros with the mountains in the distance. My husband and I especially enjoyed watching the sun set from the back patio. Cynthia is the perfect hostess. She provided the orientation to the area that we requested, let us know that she was available as needed, and allowed us to relax in privacy. Casita Luminosa is perfect for couples who want to get away from the rush and routine of day-to-day life."
