  • Starr Pass is the place to be!

"Having lived in Tucson in the mid 80s (before Starr Pass was developed) I thought the Catalina Foothills was the nicest area. I stand corrected. Starr Pass is where you want to be. It is a short drive to the University, the newly improved downtown area, Gates Pass and arguably the most beautiful area on earth, Saguaro National Monument. The Owl Casista is spacious, well appointed, nicely decorated and the beds and linens were top notch! While I did not golf, the course looked remarkable! It is a huge plus having convenient access to the Marriott. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is remarkable and reasonably priced. It is a nature lovers dream. Just off the porch we saw wild quail, humming birds and a couple of coyotes. The owner is super responsive. When my wife forgot her hair dryer, I texted her asking if they had one. To my surprise, one was delivered to our door hours later! I will definitely be back!!!"

  • Highly recommend

"We agree with all previous good reviews after our one week stay in Nov 2014. To sum up in a few words: clean, bright, modern, cozy, comfortable, efficient, spacious feel, quiet, private, convenient, accessible, well designed, tastefully decorated, and very well managed. We will definitely return and highly recommended to others!"

  • Nice Unit

"Very happy with our stay there. Gated community with security aware we were coming and envelope with access code given to get into the unit at the gate. Very nice if you love to golf and enjoy the outdoors. The pool area was being serviced and off limits or I would have given this a five star rating. Discount to AAA members offered through the website when booking. Quite a ways out there in the unspoiled desert, but plan on at least 45 minutes to get to downtown Tucson from here. Also, I would not recommend the club house for breakfast. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed are stay here and will be back time permitting."

  • Four avid Canadian mtn bikers 'struck it rich' with this home!

"We were looking for a classic adobe style home in Tucson and certainly found the perfect example in this property. The location was convenient to Tucson, but set off in the north west part just far enough to have a really nice 'acreage' feel. If you like mountain biking, the Sweetwater Trail system for biking and hiking was just 10 min away. This home's roof-top patio was exceptional for morning breakfasts, coffee and reading, and in the evening for a glass of wine and star gazing. My wife and I really enjoyed the guest suite which was attached via a covered walkway from the main house. We will come back 'in a heartbeat'!"
