  • Third time and counting

"This was our third time staying at Sombrero Peak casita and it has been great every time. The casita is extremely well maintained, nicely furnished and has a well organized kitchen and everything you could need for cooking in or cooking out. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of central Tucson yet a short drive to grocery shopping and an array of restaurants on Ina Rd. , and the location is amazingly quiet and peaceful, and the view of the desert right out the back is great. The Saguaro National Park West is just a short drive and that is definitely worth a visit. Plus, you really do have a great view of Sombrero Peak (well named) when sitting on the shaded patio enjoying a libation. The owners, Chris and Roger, are warm and friendly and helped make each stay just right. The place is wonderful for a couple, my niece and her husband are hoping to stay there on their next visit to Tucson. K&K from Pittsburgh"

  • A great escape

"We have been visiting Tucson in Mar/Apr for several years now and have stayed in this wonderfu location for about 5. This was our first time in this unit though, and we just loved it. It seems that being on the ground floor with trees around it helps keep it cool and it feels very private. It also has the best views of the mountains of any of the units we have rented over the years. The owner is an absolute delight to work with and deals with concerns promptly and helpfully. Having the extra bedroom and bath made it possible for our adult children to take turns visiting us, and they enjoyed it just as we did. I hesitate to rave too much, because I don't want a lot of competition in renting this unit. We hope to stay there in our ensuing visits to delightful Tucson!"

  • Almost everything we were expecting

"Pictures, descriptions, and accommodations were just what we expected. The condo has many, many extra touches that make staying a month 'feel like home.' The only drawback that will stop US from going back is; the complex has many 'year round' families, with lots of kids who play right in the courtyard below the condo. Well-behaved mind you, but a bit noisy for us."

  • Casita Luminosa

"All the positive reviews helped us decide to spend our vacation at the Luminosa, and it more than lived up to expectations. The casita is lovingly and tastefully decorated with great attention to comfort. The setting is spectacular, surrounded by majestic saguaros with the mountains in the distance. My husband and I especially enjoyed watching the sun set from the back patio. Cynthia is the perfect hostess. She provided the orientation to the area that we requested, let us know that she was available as needed, and allowed us to relax in privacy. Casita Luminosa is perfect for couples who want to get away from the rush and routine of day-to-day life."
