  • grateful travelers

"As a spur of the moment getaway (we were fortunate that the Casita was available!) We both hibernated and explored Tucson. La Casita was beautifully secluded yet convienent to All Things Tucson and Beyond. Everything we needed was available to us, plus things we hadn't even thought were in the need category. We are sure it is The Best Spot in Tucson for many reasons, but particularly because Jim and Karen are Tour Guides extrodinaire! Morning coffee and breakfast outside ... circle around the full moon viewed from the hot tub ... cactus garden tour ... restaurant recommendations ... mission suggestions ... all made up a much needed three day respite for us. Thank you, thank you both for opening up this opportunity."

  • Clean and comfortable.

"This was a very nice place to stay. The owner made communications and transactions very easy. The complex was great, too. We spent most of our time hiking in Sabino Canyon which is two minutes away. I would certainly recommend this condo to anyone."

  • Starr Pass is the place to be!

"Having lived in Tucson in the mid 80s (before Starr Pass was developed) I thought the Catalina Foothills was the nicest area. I stand corrected. Starr Pass is where you want to be. It is a short drive to the University, the newly improved downtown area, Gates Pass and arguably the most beautiful area on earth, Saguaro National Monument. The Owl Casista is spacious, well appointed, nicely decorated and the beds and linens were top notch! While I did not golf, the course looked remarkable! It is a huge plus having convenient access to the Marriott. The hotel is gorgeous and the food is remarkable and reasonably priced. It is a nature lovers dream. Just off the porch we saw wild quail, humming birds and a couple of coyotes. The owner is super responsive. When my wife forgot her hair dryer, I texted her asking if they had one. To my surprise, one was delivered to our door hours later! I will definitely be back!!!"
