  • Outstanding property for athletes training in Tucson!

"I brought several coached triathletes of mine to Tucson for a training camp and we stayed in this house AND the owner's equally perfect rental house directly across the street (#436693) for the duration of our camp. The houses were very clean, roomy, and well-decorated, and the location was IDEAL for our rides (including Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Gates Pass, Rillito River Path), runs (including Phone Line, Seven Falls, and Starr Pass trails, Rillito River Path), and swims (JCC pool). The area is an excellent training ground for all multisport athletes and Tucson has become a hotbed of endurance sports with the world's largest triathlon retailer, TriSports.com, located only a short bike ride (7 mi) away from this house. For anyone in good physical condition, you can walk to pretty much anything you need from this address (grocery stores, pharmacies, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Chipotle, Target, Arizona Shuttle bus drop-off point on Speedway Blvd., etc.). HIGHLY recommended. Thanks!!"

  • Relaxing Retreat!!!

"I had the opportunity to stay a week in February, 2014. The weather was wonderful and the retreat was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed spending time in the cozy indoors and also enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large patio, viewing sunrises and sunsets of the Catalina mountains. The location was in the midst of great golf courses, walking trails out side our door, wonderful restaurants, healthy grocery stores, and great shopping. Our retreat had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed that it was in a gated community with beautiful views of the mountains. Hiking in the mountains, bike riding, and exploring small art villages were also fun adventures for us. Very quiet, peaceful, and lots to do in the area."

  • Perfect for adults who want a quiet private home

"My second one month stay in the past two years. Suggest you read the review by Cam. All that he said is correct and I will update and add a little. The owners have completed construction of their house which is attached to the Casita. In no way does this impede upon the privacy of the residents in the Casita. Ro and Dave live next door and are rarely seen. The Casita has every facility, its own patio and BBQ and every TV channel you could desire. The perfect location for one or two adults for a long stay who are active hikers or cyclists and or those wanting a self catering, tranquil location for reading, sitting in the sun and touring the Tucson area. Safeway is a 7 min drive with a wide selection of restaurants within 7 to 30 min drive. Don't hesitate book now and enjoy Tucson. Colin, Canada"

  • Charming cottage made us feel instantly at home

"What a wonderful welcome and introduction to Tucson! The Ocotillo House provided a cozy, comfortable and very convenient home for my wife and me during a very happy Thanksgiving visit with our daughter's family. Everything about our stay was easy – the beds were comfortable, the kitchen efficient, the living room inviting to us as well as our three very young grandchildren. The central location made getting around town a breeze, and even led to cheerful walks around the neighborhood and to the historic Arizona Inn nearby. The house's decor and history were an added plus, but just added to the comfort factor. We're looking forward to future visits!"
