  • Elegant, Breathtaking and....Homey!

"This is a truly amazing and beautiful house. We had a family reunion and despite being awed by our spectacular surroundings, we had a wonderful time and felt very much at home. There is so much space, we kept getting lost at first. And the kids loved asking newcomers to find the 'secret' room and serving 'cocktails' in the bar. and everyone enjoyed the pool area. The pictures of the solarium do not do it justice. We had friends over one evening after the family had left, and they just wanted to hang out there. The view anytime of the day or night is incredible. We had a leak but the caretaker walked me through the steps on the phone to turn off the water and then showed up quickly. He had to come back the following day but brought his daughter to do the dishes we'd had to leave! There are some great restaurants and shopping and hiking very nearby, but really, we just wanted to hang out in the house. It was very hot while we were there and our only problem was that the A/C wasn't cooling in part of the downstairs bedroom area so it was really hard to sleep. But, our stay was economical because it was summer. Most people aren't crazy enough to travel to Tucson in the summer so it wouldn't be a problem. We're thinking of calling for another reunion just so we can return."

  • Wonderful stay

"We loved our time in Tucson, this casita was great! The hot tub and stars at night were so relaxing. We saw lots of wildlife, and enjoyed going for walks in the neighborhood. I wish there had been more birds around, but we will just have to come back in the spring. Be on the lookout for Agent M, the local desert tortoise who keeps an eye on the place."

  • Peaceful, secure, full of wildlife

"Great vacation home that was exactly as advertised. Tons of wildlife viewable from the backyard including hummingbirds, rabbits, quail, and ground squirrels. Comfortable beds, 3 TV's with full complement of satellite channels, BBQ in backyard, 2 car garage. Excellent restaurant on property grounds, access to a small gym and swimming pool is complimentary. Well appointed kitchen with all those small things you forget to pack or buy on your way in. Washer and Dryer with all supplies are provided. Secure gated community, quiet, and owners are friendly and always available to answer your questions. Convenient location to Mt Lemmon and Sabino Canyon, and all activities in the northeast portion of Tucson. Excellent value for the amenities and convenience!"

  • Great Condo for Ventana Canyon/Sunrise Area of Tucson

"This property offers a high-value, well-priced option in the swanky Ventana Canyon and Sunrise area of Tucson. The spacious corner unit offers a split floor plan, a screened porch and lots of windows and light. The washer and dryer off the guest room side is a nice option for longer stays as is the working fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen with newer appliances offers a nice venue if you choose to cook, with a peninsula that is open to a dining area. Closet space was ample. The tile and stone in the updated bathrooms was quite nice and we found plenty of towels. The complex pool was quite nice as was the tennis court and we enjoyed the trail access to Ventana Canyon and to the Loews Hotel, or it is a short walk to the hotel and lodge. A shopping complex nearby offered a high-end grocery, several restaurants including a lovely branch of El Charro and several banks and other services. We've stayed many times at the Loews and I'd recommend this condo for the additional space, amenities and other features if you are in town for more than a day or two. Visitors also are just a short drive from Sabino Canyon and from other Tucson attractions."
