  • Wonderful Winterhaven Rental

"We needed a place to stay while some remodeling was going on in our home. This property was about 2 blocks from our home, on a very quiet, lovely, tree-shaded street. Everything in the house was sparkling clean when we arrived, and the directions for the t.v., stores nearby, A/C & heat, all were clear and concise and easy to find. The house was very well equipped, with lots of linens, dishes, cleaning, laundry and kitchen supplies, and had a very large backyard in which our puppy could freely and safely roam. Thanks, Robert, for the opportunity to stay in this great home. You were very gracious in allowing us to check in early and stay longer on the check-out day. We appreciate your hospitality and the ease of renting and communicating, and we'll definitely recommend your house to friends from out of town."

  • Hauntingly good time.

"I selected this building for my 60th birthday celebration so if asked by anyone what I did for my big day I could reply "spent the night in jail". Which, if you knew me, is funny since I'm not one to break the law. Anyway, I shared the experience with two friends and us ladies had a wonderful time within its walls. The building wreaks of history and is haunted. How do I know? I'm a paranormal investigator and spiritual medium. This property is a must for anyone wanting to spend the night or nights in such a historical building in Old Town Bisbee. It was clean, comfy, great location, and filled with historical furnishings and pictures. Doris, the property manager, is a delight to work with and very amiable. As for a con I've read in other reviews in regards to the stairs - They are no steeper than the ones in my grannies farmhouse and we had no problem going up and down them even in the dark. For me, the only downside was no WiFi for the laptop. That would have given this location a five star rating from me. I cannot thank Doris enough for allowing us ladies to stay in her jail. Memories that none of us will ever forget and I look forward to staying again in the future when visiting Bisbee. I highly recommend the OK Street Jail."

  • Excellent Place to Stay - Awesome Owners

"This property is exactly what you see in the pictures! It is amazing to sit on the patio in back that is overlooking the 7th tee. Mountains are seen looking to the left and everything is there that you need. It is beautifully decorated and quite a pleasant place to stay. The beds are very comfortable for sleeping and having a bad back and hip I never had a problem while there. Good supply of cooking utensils as well. The exercise room, pool and hot tub were used frequently. You will enjoy and not be sorry when you rent the property. We thought at first we were in the middle of no where but everything is so close the location is great and in between Phoenix and Tucson. We left some brochures/magazines on places to go and places to see when leaving, but there is a tourist information center (doesn't look like much) but turn right out of the gated community and head straight for a little bit (before stop signs) trailer on right by deserted building. All kinds of information to be had in that little space. Things to do, places to go. Tucson and Phoenix are about an hour away. Be prepared for the driving in Phoenix - we didn't like it but some others may find it ok. We by-passed Phoenix coming back going 101 til it ended and cut over. We took the scenic route to Apache Junction through Chandler and that was a change of pace. We prefer Tucson over Phoenix where it's not as congested and/or stop and go. It's only 10 minutes to Casa Grande where we did our grocery shopping and other types of shopping. San Miguel Golf Course is a very nice course and they have a delicious San Miquel salad that is a must to try if you like salads. Also the Friday night fish (AYCE) is scrumptious. We go for fish quite regularly here in WI and their fish is the best I've had in a long time. Gary and Anita are awesome owners! We met them at their house and Gary took us down to the property. We had dinner with them one night and breakfast/brunch with them another. They are very cordial and likable people. You cannot go wrong with this property. We would go back in a heartbeat and hope to at some point. We just happen to luck out! AND happy we did!"

  • Wedding week

"I drove away reluctantly from this gorgeous home in Oro Valley ~ I would have loved to stay another week! Our family gathered together there for the exciting weekend of our youngest son's wedding. It was spacious, warm & perfect for our needs with an enormous kitchen & family room. Each of us had our own bedroom in a quiet section of this amazing house. The master suite was huge & lovely with French doors onto the patio & pool area. The backyard was our playground with the large dining table, pool, and putting green. My 2 1/2 yr old grandson loved it as did his father, uncle & grandfather! And to make it even more special ~ it was only 3 miles from the wedding venue in our family's property in Oro Valley. The owner was very helpful in every aspect from the rental agreement to allowing us to entertain our family & friends there. We would rent this property again & highly recommend it to relatives & friends."
