  • Nice House with a "Laid-back" Feeling

"We enjoyed this casa in a residential neighborhood near the University of Arizona. Mary has equipped the house with everything you would need, plus some thoughtful extras. She was very easy to work with. This property didn't feel contrived, instead it felt like we were borrowing a cottage from a cousin or aunt. It had a comfortable lived-in feeling that made it easy to feel at home. There are many good restaurants within less than a mile and, since the casa is in town, you avoid being assaulted by the endless shopping centers that have taken over the surrounding areas. A lot of trains roll through Tucson. If you are a light sleeper, that may be a problem and you might need to head for a condo in the hills instead (where, alas, you can't avoid seeing the shopping centers)."

  • Relaxing in the Casita

"My wife and I and our 18 month old son stayed at the Casita for a week this past December and enjoyed it immensely. The Casita was spacious and private, with gorgeous desert views, visiting wildlife, a comfortable hot tub and hiking near by. We spent the days hiking, enjoyed the desert museum and several local restaurants. Often we would cook and eat at home, enjoying the sunsets over a glass of wine. I can confirm that the charcoal grill works fine as we spent an afternoon smoking ribs and watching college football. The owners graciously provided a pack-and-play for our son--they live next door and were readily available by phone. It was a peaceful and private place to relax for our family, we can recommend it without reservation."

  • Wish we could have stayed for a month!

"We had another great stay at Sun Country! Couldn't have been happier! We love the great walk to downtown and back, lots to see along the way! We brought a small camp stove and some kitchen supplies to make most of our meals while we were visiting, their kitchen had everything else we needed! The bathroom is so cool, it reminds me of when I used to go boating when I was growing up! They made great use of this small space. Sarah was very friendly, helpful and easy to contact when we had questions. We didn't want to leave at the end of our trip, it was a great getaway and I suggest this place to anyone who wants to visit bisbee!"
