Great view, quiet, clean, relaxing, excellent location.
"We stayed two nights and it worked out perfect. Wish we had more time to explore the variety of things Rogers has to offer. Loved the location, it was quiet, and the owner went above and beyond making sure it fit my needs. Since I was coming for a certain reason I was trying to get close to a particular location. Owner drove the distance between her place and my location just to make sure it was close and worked for my needs. The place is very relaxing, easy to find, has all you need for cooking, plus an outside grill. You will want to stay in sometimes because the view is awesome. I needed wheel chair accessibility for my parent and it worked out well. Very clean and I absolutely loved the vibrant colors of the walls, and the detail to the way the place was decorated. The pictures are just as it looks. The Murphy bed and the futon are separated by a curtain for privacy. This also makes it easy for dressing in your area and not needing to occupy the bathroom if there are several people in your party. Really hoping to get back for another visit. While this location is about 20 minutes from the mall....that is what makes it perfect. Close enough to go if you want, but not all the traffic if you don't. The highway is a scenic route which is extremely close. Restaurants close by, we enjoyed "The Log Cabin" for lunch...but the menu for breakfast looked great too. Downtown is very close by and has lots of little shops etc. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did."

"This place is inexpensive and we were able to bring our dog. For the money, it's a great value which is why we gave it 4 stars. It was relatively clean, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of dishes, etc. The location is great, and except for the incessant window air conditioner, it's a very quiet neighborhood. There is a "community" grill in the neighbor's yard. He's a very nice guy and helpful. The drive way is very long--great for those who drag a boat along with them!
There is a lake view which is likely spectacular in the winter when the leaves fall. We fell in love with the lake!
A few negative points--sorry. My husband and I stayed at this little place for a few days. Any longer would have been too long. There is no central air (we thought it would have central air from the response from management in a 2014 review). The din of the window unit wore on us after a bit and having the swirling air from fans gets annoying after a bit. It was hard to regulate the room temps.
The kitchen is for one small tush! No dishwasher, but they didn't say there was one. We sorta laughed and called it indoor glamping! The toilet is a nightmare water-use-wise.
I would not trust the banister on the stairs up to the loft if I had little kids!
The manager wasn't able to really tell us where the dock was and the ramps nearby were unusable--the lake is really high right now. She was very responsive to our other questions though. A detailed map for finding the dock (I assumed the place came with a slip or use of a dock) and the ramps would be great."

"We stayed here for a week and it was the perfect home for the 9 of us. Some people said you would have trouble finding things to do for a week...absolutely wrong...ball park, animal park, shopping, beaver lake activities, kids activity - including high rise, golf mountain and fast lane. The favorite was Stand Up Paddleboarding on Beaver Lake. Melody Elliot is an excellent instructor...got everybody up walking on water. The house was great to come back to after spending time exploring the area. We really enjoyed the pool and that was our main area for congregating each evening. The inside is every bit as good as the pictures portray it to be...beds were outstanding. The best restaurant was the Wooden Spoon in Gentry...not the fanciest but tremendous food. The owners were easy and very helpful. Fantastic house and a great area to visit."

"Perfect place for us to enjoy, relax and comerserat. The four of us have been friends for fifty years and to share a glass of wine and some cheese on the front porch that overlooked beautiful landscape and tidy neighborhood was wonderful."
