"We visited family at the cabin in 2011 and knew we would be there ourselves one day. We just got home after spending the week of 8-13-15 at the cabin. We are definitely retuning next summer. Love the location, the cabin is roomy and well arranged. It was clean, quiet, peaceful. Love the yard and wooded area as well as the cove and deck right on the water. Scott was very nice and a pleasure to talk with. Can't wait to return!"

"I got together with a group of eight women...we wanted to visit Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. It was nice to be "out" of town with the beautiful views of the lake and an easy drive back to see the museum. The owners were quite responsive to our needs and the house was very clean. The house was supplied with enough plates, glasses, towels, etc for our big group. We cooked our meals at the house and found out prior to our arrival that we would need to bring basic cooking ingredients...you never know about that so we have learned to ask before arrival. Grocery shopping needs to be done in Rogers before you get out to the lake. The bird watching at the feeders is a plus."

"This place is inexpensive and we were able to bring our dog. For the money, it's a great value which is why we gave it 4 stars. It was relatively clean, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of dishes, etc. The location is great, and except for the incessant window air conditioner, it's a very quiet neighborhood. There is a "community" grill in the neighbor's yard. He's a very nice guy and helpful. The drive way is very long--great for those who drag a boat along with them!
There is a lake view which is likely spectacular in the winter when the leaves fall. We fell in love with the lake!
A few negative points--sorry. My husband and I stayed at this little place for a few days. Any longer would have been too long. There is no central air (we thought it would have central air from the response from management in a 2014 review). The din of the window unit wore on us after a bit and having the swirling air from fans gets annoying after a bit. It was hard to regulate the room temps.
The kitchen is for one small tush! No dishwasher, but they didn't say there was one. We sorta laughed and called it indoor glamping! The toilet is a nightmare water-use-wise.
I would not trust the banister on the stairs up to the loft if I had little kids!
The manager wasn't able to really tell us where the dock was and the ramps nearby were unusable--the lake is really high right now. She was very responsive to our other questions though. A detailed map for finding the dock (I assumed the place came with a slip or use of a dock) and the ramps would be great."

"Perfect place for us to enjoy, relax and comerserat. The four of us have been friends for fifty years and to share a glass of wine and some cheese on the front porch that overlooked beautiful landscape and tidy neighborhood was wonderful."
