"The owners were great people and a pleasure to deal with. The house was perfect and had a view to die for. I recommend this place if you are looking to stay at a peaceful place that isn't too far away from the amenities of town."Guest: Brady Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 29, 2014View listing
"Having never rented this property, we didn't know what to expect, other than the web page photos and information. We were not mislead! This is a very beautiful location with a great view of the river and is close to many activities including a Civil War battlefield, Beaver Lake, and Eureka Springs. The house fit our needs very well. Each room was neat and clean with all the modern conveniences and with ample to extravagant roominess. The kitchen was reasonably outfitted with dishes and cooking utensils as well as a toaster, 2 - 12 cup coffee pots (Thank you!), a mixer, microwave, and a large refrigerator and stove. The kids loved the hot tub and our daughter really liked the jacuzzi in the master bath. We used the pool table, too. They even allow pets (additional $75 fee). The owners were invisible throughout our stay, from arrival to literally a minute prior to our departure. Very friendly and accommodating folks. In short, we loved our stay at Hillcrest Lodge and will likely rent it again!"Guest: RD in NM Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 10, 2014View listing
"The Dragonfly is a wonderfully private, but not secluded, place. I have been there five times, and each time the cottage was exceptionally clean. The most relaxing and peaceful place for me was the deck . . . dinners out there . . . glasses of wine out there . . . cups of coffee out there. Rick is attentive if the need arises but will leave you to enjoy your vacation otherwise. I recommend this property if you are looking for serenity, relaxation, and beauty. I'm already looking forward to my next getaway there!"Guest: Julie Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 4, 2014View listing
"My wife and I stayed @ the cottage, 4th of July weekend. It was great! The artists cottage and grounds exudes peace and relaxation. We absolutely loved it! We would go back in a heartbeat! If you are in need of peace and quiet this is the place, we didn't even turn the t.v. on. There was a good selection of DVD's,but didn't even miss it! We walked the trails and basically took it easy in the yard. It was amazing to feel such@ ease. But yet all the Hub-bub of eureka springs was only minutes away. Almost all the way on paved roads, short distance on GRAVEL, not dirt roads! The worst thing about our stay , was having to leave! We could have stayed forever! Thank You Lorna and Craig for sharing your " Slice of Heaven", Just what we both needed. Thanks to Carl also, for being informative and helpful. Rick and Sandee"Guest: Rick Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 27, 2014View listing
