"As I sit here early Friday morning watching the deer in the yard and enjoying a cup of coffee all is quite and peacefull. House is fabulous and super clean.definitely would stay again and plan to. The yard is well taken care of and the clear River is about 100 feet from back door. Thanks Gary for letting my family share your home."

"We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The pictures do not do this home justice. Absolutely beautiful and the view was incredible. Stocked with so many essentials! We rented a boat at the nearby marina (10 minutes) for 3 days and loved Bull Shoals lake. We didn't go out on the White River or fish, but did go down and put our feet in. The sunrise and sunset and moonrise were outstanding from the home. Doug was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was our first time in Arkansas and renting a home from the Hoovers was by far the most enjoyable experience. They are so sweet! We rented the home that is featured on VRBO and it was exactly how it was portrayed. Sitting out on the deck was so relaxing! My husband and son-in-law-to-be took a fishing guide tour of the river and we also went out on the lake with some family and friends who have boats. All in all is was a great time! Comfortable sleeping and the house was very clean. :)"

"Being a traveler and used to the amenities of big hotels in major cities, beautiful resorts and vacation homes, I was very surprised to find a gem - Trimble Creek Lodge - in the heart of the Ozarks. From the moment, my brother and I stepped out of the car to our final day at this resort, we were impressed by the level of personalized service by the proprietors, Lorilee and Mike. They were not only warm, hospitable and friendly hosts, but very informative and highly knowledgeable about the area. They lent a special touch to everything – from the welcome sign that greeted us as we entered the lodge, to the bouquet of fresh flowers delivered to the rooms daily. The cabins were very CLEAN, cozy and charming; the décor added to the feeling of a real home.
Upon arrival, and after being led to our quarters, my first impulse was to lay in bed and sleep because I was tired from driving. But the scenery beckoned. The large windows in the lodge offered a view of Bull Shoals Lake that was irresistible and breathtaking. One could read, play a game of pool or backgammon or simply sit, relax and enjoy nature. The gravel paths that meandered around the property offered many surprises – a vegetable garden, a tree house, a homey barn, a small grove of chestnut trees, beautiful rocks from the “Natural State” and breathtaking views of the lake and its creeks.
We sampled Lorilee’s delicious home-made bread, which was freshly baked, but disappointingly, we did not have the time to take the lesson in bread making due to the lack of time.
Trimble Creek offered a lot of privacy and a welcome relief from the stresses of city living.
I highly recommend this beautiful resort and will definitely return and hope to stay longer!"
