"We've never rented a house before for vacation. We were wonderfully surprised by a very nice house right on the lake with a marvelous view. The whole family had fun and plenty of room to spread out. The back outdoor deck has a ceiling fan on one end and I sat there and read and enjoyed the view. The whole place is very quiet, no stress, now worries. Being a newbie, I will advise this, check any house you stay at right when you get there for any problems. Contact the owners who are more than happy to address any issues you may have. (This is something I didn't know to do.) All in all, this is a wonderful house to vacation at. You can sit on the patio down by the lake and fish, swim, etc. Just a really peaceful place to get away from it all. I hope to stay there again sometime."

"Our family of four plus my parents stayed 3 nights here during spring break. There was plenty of room, and it was so much better than a hotel. The guys fished and took the kayaks out; a couple of us took turns in the hammock, and the ladies did a little shopping and visiting on the back porch. Cor (the owner) came by to meet us and was friendly and helpful. The home was spacious and clean. Each room was decorated with a theme - fishing, golf & quilts. While the decor was not modern, it was comfortable and pleasant. There is a Walmart just down the road and a grocery store just across from the village. There's also a CVS and Sonic just outside the village. We ate at Charlie's Pub (used to be Molly O'Brien's) across Hwy 7 from the Village. It's always been one of our favorites. We made a trip to the store for groceries and cooked a few meals there, and there was plenty of cookware and dishes. I will remember to get foil and/or ziploc bags next time for leftovers, and some salt and pepper. Other than that, most anything you need is there - towels, hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, air freshener, life jackets. Just bring your fishing poles and sports equipment! Our teenage boys went to the basketball courts down the road, and met several other teenagers there and had a great time. We played board games at night, and just enjoyed the outdoors. We were looking forward to roasting marshmallows, but the fire pit is no longer there because of the fire codes. We did not rent the pontoon boat, but there is one available. I would definitely recommend this home and owner to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you, Cor, for your hospitality."
