"This is our second year in a row to pick this unit. Park your boat very close to unit. Great view and lots of wildlife to see from your large deck. Does not get any better."Guest: Chris Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 16, 2014View listing
"This was a wonderful location for our entire family to enjoy some recreation, shopping, spa time, fishing, plenty of relaxation and some excellent meals. The dock was perfect for our two boats, which we were able to use every day. The kids caught some small bass right off the dock, and we all got to float around the dock and enjoy the beautiful scenery, peace, and quiet. The house itself was perfect for us to spread out in with plenty of room for us all. The cottage was a hit, too! The walk down to the dock is rather steep, so I would not recommend this for anyone with limited mobility."Guest: Anne S. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 4, 2014View listing
"We certainly enjoyed being with our friends on Chesapeake Cove. We had everything we could possibly need! The view was fabulous--peaceful and relaxing. The house was comfortable for 4 couples and we enjoyed socializing on the balcony and in the living room. We made a great choice staying at this home."Guest: Old Friends Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 8, 2014View listing
"Took my family for a quick vacation to the Lake and found this property to be just what we needed. Quiet neighborhood and the lake was a wonderful experience with the boat that Loren provided. The house was very clean and spacious. This house has everything a family could ask for when traveling on vacation or retreat. Thanks again."Guest: Texas traveler Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
Hot Springs Travel Tips
Hot Springs Vacation Rentals in the Ouachita Mountains
There are two places in Arkansas that are well known for their beauty and peaceful vacation spots. The first area is the Ozark Mountains while the second is in the Ouachita Mountains. Hot Springs vacation rentals are located in the latter which is in the west-central section of the state just a few miles from Little Rock. On your trip to this peaceful oasis, you will need to fly into Little Rock or use one of the highways that run through the state. Interstates 30 and 40 will bring you out of Little Rock towards Highway 10, but there are also a number of highways that run through the Ouachita Mountains and its national forest. The hot springs are closer to the Little Rock side than the Arkansas border.

The Thermal Baths of Hot Springs, Arkansas
Hot Springs, Arkansas has been aptly named due to the geological creations. This area has a rich history dating back to the Native American times. Many tribes would arrive at Hot Springs, keeping it as a place of peace and neutrality since they felt it was a very important place. As modern generations found their way to the springs, the area began to draw more and more people until the 1940s when modern medicine came into play.
