"I have just gotten home from my grandson wedding in Hot Springs. We all stayed in this lovely VRBO home on Lake Hamilton. If you come to HOt Springs this a great place to stay, beautiful, right on the water, clean, and roomie enough to give everyone some privacy. There were 8 of us. There is a large glassed in deck looking out on Lake Hamilton where we watched autumn colors sparkling in the water. Breakfast was in there and a couple Great Blue Herons glided by. The house was scrubbed and tidy for our gang, good-sized kitchen, lots of windows. I really enjoyed the great room for gathering and sharing in the evening. The teenagers liked the canoe and fishing off the boat dock. The hostess, Anne, lives near by and is assessable to learn of local attractions. I will be back next year or may be this winter. Thanks, Anne, had a great time. Valerie Keife"

"Loved our stay and enjoyed all the amenities. House we super clean and very roomy. Wasn't expecting the back deck as there were no pictures of it on here, but it was awesome. William and Kathy met me at the house and were extremely friendly. The outside is manicured and beautiful. There is lots of room for parking, a boat, etc. Greers Ferry is beautiful an it's right out the back door. You can't beat the bang for the buck either!"

"We stayed in this half of a duplex for four nights while attending a family gathering about 1.5 miles away. It worked well for the two of us, both seniors. The property appears to be one of the older residences in Hot Springs Village, which began in the 1970's. Much of the décor and some of the furniture dates back to that era. The place was very clean, the kitchen fairly well equipped, although some of the furniture was rather worn. Lighting in the front bedroom was very minimal and only a little better in the living room. The king bed in the front bedroom was in good condition. We did not have an occasion to try the queen bed adjacent to the deck. The dining table was abnormally high, with four chairs of matching height. Regular height chairs cannot be used with it. (Unless as an adult you want to experience being three years ago, when your chin was barely above the table when sitting in a "big-people" chair!)
The owner will not come in unless the renter is there. While this respect for privacy is admirable, it can be inconvenient when a minor repair is needed. The Wi-Fi was experiencing brief interruptions the whole time we were there. Most of the time we could live with them, which we did for the whole stay. The owner would have attempted to trouble-shoot the system if we had been there during the day. But we were not!
There are 63 steps down to the dock. There is a handrail virtually all the way down. The hill is relatively steep, with the slope continuing into the water. Thus young children would need to be carefully supervised. If you have a small boat, check with the owner about rules. There is a launch site close by. Pontoon boats are very appropriate for this lake, but are not available for rental. There is a beach elsewhere on the lake. Swimming in this small bay requires good skills as it gets deep quickly.
There are several gates to HSV, but only two usable for visitors. These are the east gate off highway 5 and the main gate, or west gate, off highway 7. Most shopping and restaurants are at the west gate. This property is a few miles from the west gate, and a much longer distance from the east gate."

"Gary and Cerise are amazing! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed from cooking utensils to paper plates. We had such an amazing time my teenage kids are already planning a trip back. Their response when I asked what I should write was: "the hospitality made the trip 10x's better. Listen to Gary when he says you need to try the snowballs they are great!" We could not have asked for a better experience. Anyone wanting to get away from home and not stay in a hotel should definitely stay here!"
