  • Wonderful Getaway

"My family and I had a really great time at this wonderful home. My children really enjoyed the hot tub, and being able to sit around and enjoy everything comfortably. The home was great, it gave me time to relax and unwind end, being that I normally have a busy schedule when I'm home. I would recommend this home to anyone, it's really cozy and has everything you need. Thanks for the experience and opening your home to me and my family..."

  • Best Home-Away-From-Home on the Planet!

"We always stay at Rosemont B&B when we are in Little Rock. Our first choice is the Barkley cottage, where we have created many family memories over the past 14 years. The minute you enter the cottage, you feel as if you have lived there all your life. The decor is soothing and homey, the layout is convenient and spacious, it is always clean and cozy. I could say the same thing for all the rooms at the Inn, but we love the Barkley best because it can accomodate all our family members. There is a formal living and dining room, a family sized kitchen, two large bedrooms and baths. The sheets are silky soft, the beds are comfy and the neighborhood is filled with beautiful old homes, so a walk is always pleasurable and safe. We also enjoy sitting in the fenced back yard, where we have shared many take-out dinners in the summer moonlight. Rosemont has all the modern conveniences, while still allowing the guests to step back in time to a slower, more genteel pace. A feeling of serenity envelopes the enitre property, as if you are visiting a beloved family member. There are times when we'd rather stay at the cottage than roam around Little Rock, curled up with a book or just talking with loved ones. Susan, the gracious Innkeeper, is always fun to visit with and she goes out of her way to accomodate any special needs we may have with international flights, our pets or grandchildren. Her Southern breakfasts are fantastic---generous, delicious and everything is home made. My husband says "The only thing wrong with the Barkley is when we have to leave.""

  • Norfork Fishing

"Having has a long career in the travel business I am very critical of brochures, descriptions and even photos. While driving around on a previous visit to ths area I had seen this property and thought "how nice"! When a friend from NC said fishing in this area was high on her bucket list I immediately knew where we should stay. Arkansas is the "Natural State" and rightfully so. This is a relatively remote area with great natural resources. The house is wonderful!!! Very open with kitchen, dining, living all framed by two large windows facing the White River. A large deck partially covered. The king bedroom with ensuite bath opens onto the deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom. Large closets. And the second bath just outside the door. Even a laundry room with washer and dryer...really great when you are fishing. You can find less expensive accommodations but not a better value. The property is three miles off the highway. From the turn off it's five miles to Norfork. We had one rain day and enjoyed the house and watching wildlife. Due to high water we did not get to experience fishing at the house...and we really preferred a guide! Try tworiversflyshop.com And the fishing was great. My friend caught a 20" brown! Nice. The property and grounds were very clean and well kept. It was a pleasure to deal with the owners from the beginning. We had lots of questions and answers were prompt, accurate and with concern for our enjoyment. "Dining" is limited and you might check to see which days restaurants below serve lunch and/or dinner. PJs Lodge - Restaurant Next door - rooms here are very, very small. Brooksfalls Restaurant Toward Calico Rock Heidi's Ugly Cakes At Two Rivers Fly Shop Great sandwiches Norfork Cafe Breakfast and open till about 1:30pm There is another restaurant in Calico Rock. Mt Home is the next "large" town if you must have fast food. Coming or going don't miss Blanchard Springs Caverns. They are beautiful and handicap friendly. Check for tour times. Good fishing to you!!!"
