  • Great Stay!!

"My husband and I were there to take a blacksmith forging class at Old Washington State Park, which is about a 40 minute drive away. We had such a great time with the class and the lodge. Mr. Jerry came to visit us a couple of times to check on our class progress, and we really loved visiting with him!!! The house is so clean and comfortable. Mr. Jerry and Ms. Jane provided us with fresh eggs from their farm and a jar of fresh figs!! (YUM) I suggest this rental to anyone interested in an adventure (crater of diamond state park, old Washington state park, little Missouri river and a nice downtown Murfreesboro visit)! The house is in the middle of farm land, so you will wake up to fuzzy cows wanting to say good morning:)!"

  • Comfortable and Friendly

"Thank you Gary and Cerise! Our stay at the rental house was perfect. With 4 kids it can be difficult to find affordable accommodations for vacations so the price was great and everyone slept comfortably both nights we stayed. The kids had a blast playing badminton and eating s'mores around the campfire. My wife and I were very pleased with the all room to fit everyone comfortably. Everyone really liked the New Orleans style snowballs (a must if you are ever in the area). Being located so close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park was ideal for taking a short break to return to the house for lunch. The digging equipment you had worked perfectly, saved us on the rental fees at the park and meant we could dig a little longer because we could use the equipment right up to closing time. We wish we had planned a longer trip to have time to take a walk up the street and poke through all the fun little shops in town, next time. We could not have asked for friendlier or more accommodating hosts. You have a great place and I will not hesitate to stay with you again the next time we are in the area. I recommend the Budget Diamond Hunters House to anyone looking for a place to stay in Murfreesboro, Arkansas."

  • Comfortable, Relaxing, & Friendly

"My husband, 4 daughters and I planned a trip to the Crater of Diamonds. I looked high and low for something comfortable for my crew. This cabin was comfortable with lots of space for all of us. Our 6 yr. old made a nice pallet on the floor with the cushions from the hide-a-bed. I loved the rustic look and feel. I felt at home at all times. Price comparable with everything in the area. No close quarters to worry about. The only negative I had was the inconsistency of contacting the owner. Otherwise 5 stars. Great time by all of us."

  • Great Cabin to stay for Fly fishing and other area activities.

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Mark goes above and beyond the meet any needs that arrise during your stay and is a wealth of information on the area. The fresh eggs provided for nice breakfasts. The cabin is centrally located to all the public access points to the Little Missouri river for fishing and floating. The cabin exceeds the listing. I am now trying to set up a return trip in the fall and will stay again."
