  • Peaceful stay at a wonderful lake HOME !

"We recently spent the week at this HOME and had a wonderful time. I stress the word home because that is how we felt, it was comfy and welcoming. The lake view is great-the entire wall of the front room is floor to ceiling windows. There were just 3 adults on this trip, my husband, myself and my 85 year old mother in law. She had a bedroom on the main floor and we took the master upstairs. All the beds were extremely comfy with nice linens. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, etc. The neighbors were so friendly (it seems most of the neighbors are there weekends and summer only). Since we brought our dog we were so pleased to find out how pet friendly this location was...there is a shaded fenced area with direct access to the house in the kitchen and the large back deck is gated to provide another spot for fido. Our little Westie spent a lot of time on the deck watching the lake activity. We had planned to cook most of our meals at the house so did not find the lack of restaurants to be a problem. The owner, Tony, was easy to work with and provided feedback quickly. I highly recommend this location."

  • Scenic Serenity

"Our family of 9 individuals, from 3 years to 80 years of age, travel all over the country. From Cape Cod, MA to San Diego, CA... And when all 9 individuals say they were 100% satisfied with Trimble Creek Lodge, this review should resonate will all that are contemplating on traveling to this particular location. From the moment we drove down the old dirt road to gain access to the 70+ acre property... We all were a bit worried with what we would find at the end of the road. However, the moment we entered the Trimble Creek Lodge property that all changed as we were greeted with beautifully groomed & spacious land... Immediately, we could tell the owners took great pride in keeping the land in excellent condition. There also was the spectacular views of the lake (absolutely breathtaking)! As we followed the gravel road to the lodge, where we would eventually would check-in, we noticed the adorable Meadow House, the Barn, the Bunk House, and then the main house with attached lodge… All within walking distance!!! My 80 year old grandparents were ecstatic that the houses were all in close proximity to one another, as they were able to walk back and forth from the Meadow House to the Lodge each day. We were given a short tour of the property and the houses we would be staying. Each house presented its own unique charm and character. The main house / lodge was the gathering point for our family each day/night, as this location offers the best views and also is the designated entertainment area. The Meadow House is at the opposite end of the property, where the grandparents stayed. This particular house offered complete tranquility and rest to those that stayed. The Barn House was another gem of the property! It has been converted to an apartment style living area, and offers a gorgeous bathroom! I could go on…and on about the lodging facilities at Trimble Creek Lodge… But I believe it’s equally important to note the extraordinary hospitality that was given to use by the owners. They went out of their way to make sure our every need was catered too…and I found that this type of treatment is a rarity, and we all felt a little spoiled as a result of how well we were taken care of. We already miss the wonderful smells of lavender on all the towels and bed linens… and the owners teaching us all how to make old-school ice cream (homemade ice cream)… and the owners baking us fresh homemade batch of bread for dinner! Thank you Lulu & Michael for a wonderful time!"

  • Great Time Had By All

"Having never rented this property, we didn't know what to expect, other than the web page photos and information. We were not mislead! This is a very beautiful location with a great view of the river and is close to many activities including a Civil War battlefield, Beaver Lake, and Eureka Springs. The house fit our needs very well. Each room was neat and clean with all the modern conveniences and with ample to extravagant roominess. The kitchen was reasonably outfitted with dishes and cooking utensils as well as a toaster, 2 - 12 cup coffee pots (Thank you!), a mixer, microwave, and a large refrigerator and stove. The kids loved the hot tub and our daughter really liked the jacuzzi in the master bath. We used the pool table, too. They even allow pets (additional $75 fee). The owners were invisible throughout our stay, from arrival to literally a minute prior to our departure. Very friendly and accommodating folks. In short, we loved our stay at Hillcrest Lodge and will likely rent it again!"
