  • Long-time friends from college / guys getaway

"Wow - where to begin. Five of us from all corners of the country booked this last year looking for a centrally located location with some lake access for swimming and boating. This was an easy 1 hour drive from Little Rock Airport. We couldn't have asked for a better house or location. Beautiful view, pool, grill on the deck, washer/dryer available, nearby grocery stores and boat rentals - there is NOTHING lacking. Must admit, I thought it was too good to be true on the photos, but it's absolutely accurate or even better once you stay. Tom the property manager is easy to contact and hugely helpful to provide assistance or get you in the right direction. For the five of us, there are plenty of beds and bathrooms. Everything is clean and working. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Aside from bringing in your clothes and food - it's all there and like being a guest in someones home. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. A true gem on VRBO."

  • Absolutely gorgeous!

"I booked a last minute trip for the fourth of July weekend and for some reason this cottage was available. Literally everything in town was booked, so I scratched my head a bit when I saw this was not rented. I spoke with the owner, who was a super cool guy and he confirmed it was still open, so I immediately booked it. This cottage is something out of a story book. Everything was perfect all the way down to the cool furnishings. I literally did not want to leave the property on outings! I wanted to soak in the chirping birds on the shaded front porch and read my book. I will definitely be booking this again. I already mentioned the owner was cool but this is what he said when I booked the place, "the only requirement is that you have a good time." Mission accomplished! Clay form Tulsa, OK"

  • Perfect Hot Springs Getaway

"We spent a weekend in Miss Nellwyn's condo with another couple and couldn't have asked for anything more. It is a large, well equipped condo in a great location - right off Central - only minutes to Oaklawn and literally moments to the lake, we found it perfect for our group. We even entertained local friends while with dinner while we were there. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and had ample room to entertain guests. The beds were comfortable, entire condo spic and span and the view was lovely from the covered back porch overlooking the water. We travel often and have stayed in many condos and many hotels, and this is one that we would definitely stay in again. Thank you Nellwyn."

  • Restful and Fun Vacation

"Our family of five spent 5 nights at the Flyfishinn house. It was great! We have three children and each of us enjoyed different aspects of the trip/location. Our children loved the fishing, of course, both on the river and at the pond. The catch-count for the trip was over 30, 9 of them trout. The pond was really great for our boys as they are 7 and 5 and caught fish very quickly there. We also loved all the wildlife including deer (we saw 6), Canadian geese, cranes catching fish, and various other birds and butterflies. Our daughter enjoyed fishing and taking many pictures of the gorgeous trees and landscape. My husband was on the shoals just in front of the property early every morning, came back for breakfast, and returned to the water with kids. The beautiful surroundings, the sound of the river, and the happiness of the rest of my family were the biggest blessings to me. We climbed nearby Sugar Loaf twice, and visited the Dam Site Beach, Collins Creek Falls, and Greers Ferry Lake Fish Hatchery and Visitor's Center. We had one rainy day and made the best of it by taking a day-trip to Blanchard Springs Caverns. The house itself was all we wanted/needed. The interior appeared much nicer than any other place we considered and was one of the reasons we picked this place. It did not disappoint. The home was clean and well-maintained with extra-nice sheets, towels, etc. We cooked every meal there and were very comfortable having all we needed, including a gas grill. Plenty of dishes, cups, and silverware etc. for us. The beds were very comfy and rooms were spacious, especially the master. The decks and surrounding areas are great and the inside of the house was decorated very sweetly. Owner was kind and helpful. Compared to other listings we considered, we believe the rate here is more than fair. Really a SUPER deal when you consider the quality of the house itself, location on the river/close to town, and its surroundings (including your own stocked pond)! Overall we had a great trip and would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
