  • A few days at Oaklawn

"The home was very nice and clean. We have stayed in Hot Springs Village many times and this we the nicest house we have stayed in. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. We had an excellent time at the horse races and always enjoy eating at the Homeplate located just outside of the village. I hope to stay there again next year! Great for families!"

  • Enjoyed Our Family Reunion Here!

"We just spent the last weekend here, and we really enjoyed ourselves. There are a couple of things that I think people should know about the location and the amenities before making a decision about whether or not to rent here. Pros: - Luther is extremely courteous, kind, and accommodating. When we arrived we were short on sheets and he had someone deliver them as soon as possible. I emailed him several times and he responded promptly with answers to questions and suggestions for a boat rental location. - The house was one of the few that could host a group of our size. Almost everyone in our group got their own room (as couples) AND their own BATHROOM!!! Awesome! - It's nicely situated 10 minutes from Hot Springs, which is a quaint little town with just enough to do on a long weekend. However, there's PLENTY to do if you don't want to leave the houses at all - there is a pool table (quite popular during our trip), some puzzles (though not all complete), a beautiful view (on FOUR different porches) and you're literally on the lake, so swimming is a must-do. - Two houses = quiet house and party house! Need I say anything more? Cons - The steps to the lake are borderline dangerous. They are in disrepair and need a serious upgrade. Family members spotted some poison ivy on the way down as well, which could ruin a trip! Be cautious using the stairs until they make the repairs (there are quite a few of them as well, but it's good exercise!) - The houses run quite cold, so bring a sweater! - There is no common bathroom in the main cabin, so you'll have to use the one in someone's bedroom. There is a half bath in the other house. - You can't bring pets, which is unfortunate for such dog-lovers as we have in our family. Understandable, but something to think about. Overall, we were happy with our trip and the time spent with family."

  • Girls getaway

"We came down for some of our friend's b-day. People stayed at different locations but for us we picked the perfect spot...great location to downtown but we felt we had the best of both worlds. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space...I would recommend Bella Pardisio to all my friends and when I return I know where to stay."

  • Beautiful house on the lake!!

"We stayed at this wonderful lake house during the summer (early July 2014). It was so perfect for our 2 families. The house is beautiful - the landscaping in the backyard is so neat with the water feature that automatically comes on every evening. We used the firepit to make S'mores quiet a few evenings! The lake itself is peaceful and quiet. The kids caught quite a few fish (mostly crappies!) right off the dock. We enjoyed taking the boat out in the evenings. HSV is a perfect place to take a family for a quiet vacation. My husband went golfing at one of the (many!) golf resorts and we all loved going over to Lake Balboa and hanging out at the "beach" lake that is there during the day. It is a very short drive to the Lake Ouachita Marina if you want to rent a boat to go waterskiing/tubing (which we did!) or a 20 min drive to head into Hot Springs and hike or go to the bath houses. One thing I really liked about this house was the towels. The owner has the house stocked with very fluffy, nice white clean towels (and plenty of them!). Both of the master bedrooms have renovated bathrooms and wonderful showers! I also loved to wake up every morning and sit out on the deck to drink my coffee. It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. Arkansas is beautiful and this house was exactly what we wanted! The owner was a great source of information about the community and things to do. He also kept us up to date with the fourth of July activities in HSV. It was very easy to work with him!"
