  • Great place for large family!

"Every year our extended family of 20 plus meet over the Martin Luther King Holiday. We have stayed in several different places the past few years in Northern/Central Arkansas. The Summit House tops them all. There was plenty of room for the kids, young adults and older adults to gather without being on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for the large group. The state park and trails provided endless entertainment for the group for hikes and site seeing. The view from the house were amazing, overlooking the river and town. We saw deer, birds, a flock of pelicans in the river and even a road runner. We will definitely return to the Summit House in the near future. The owners were great to personally answer questions before we got there. Fantastic weekend-wish we could have stayed longer."

  • Great room and accomodating hosts

"We are frequent visitors to Eureka and have stayed in many of the hotels in town...Basin Park, Flatiron Flats, New Orleans, Rogue's Manor. This condo was very nice. We enjoyed sitting out on our deck, we loved the cleanliness and the newness of the room and the furnishings. The bottled water and the snacks were a nice touch too. The ONLY drawback to me was the long walk to the center of town. It IS walking distance, so you can park and walk, which we did, and if you leave by late morning, you can get parking all day for just $5 so it's not a big deal. In fact, it's worth it for the savings over the price of the hotels that compare in quality to the condo. We were in #9, and I was concerned bc people complained about the size, but we found it to be comparable to a hotel room, and had no complaints. We would certainly recommend it to others and would stay again."

  • Family Easter Weekend

"We stayed at this wonderful condo during Easter weekend. We had one hiccup and the owners were so gracious to help us out immediately. The condo has everything that you need from preparing meals, playing games, to having wifi (which a must with my adult children). I really enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, relaxing and drinking my coffee in the morning. The condo is very well maintained and modern, easily accessable to everything in the city, but still peaceful and quiet. We will rent again!"

  • Fantastic Place

"While the weather was not cooperative at all this trip, the property was absolutely fantastic. The property's dual atmosphere of serving excellently as both summer lake house and fall/winter cozy retreat actually made our groups enthusiasm survive the storms that blew through and locked us inside. Only downside was a storm possibly knocked out the hot tub."
