  • Great place to two families

"My husband, daughter and I loved our stay on Lake Hamilton. My daughter loved she had her own living quarters including kitchen. That way she could stay up late and rise later than us. The location has great swimming pier next to lake for sunning. We rented the pontoon boat which is added bonus. The decor is very tasteful and relaxing. Stan was just a text away is we had questions. Fully fenced back yard enabled us to bring our dog. This is our go back place."

  • Awesome and very comfortable condo with great location in Hot Springs

"We enjoyed our stay at Nancy's beautiful condo by Lake Hamilton for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. Everything was as described, and better. :) It was super clean. Thank you!! Super comfortable bed/furniture, and new carpeting (so soft to walk on after hours of walking in Hot Springs at attractions all day - Garvan Woodland Gardens and Bath House Row - short trips to either location from the condo). :) Beautiful view from living room/balcony and bedroom window. Great roll down shades for privacy, and to darken the rooms. A/C works great, and you have a ceiling fan in the bedroom, awesome!! We sleep with a ceiling fan on at home. Beautiful color scheme and furniture choices!! I loved your retro kitchen, including the stove/oven. So unusual, and it worked great for us too!! Your kitchen/condo had so much storage space for all the things you had provided for us to use while there. Great walk-in closet with plenty of room for clothes/shoes. The outdoor pool with a view of Lake Hamilton around it is amazing!! We sat poolside and watched all the boats going by. Lots of activity on the lake this time of year. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the lake. Shirley (the property manager) is super-friendly and made us feel very welcome when we arrived, and thanked us for our stay when we left. You were a joy to communicate with during the reservation process, and the days leading up to our arrival. You gave us all the info we needed. We appreciate your friendliness!! We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to HS. We'll tell our family and friends about it too. So much better than staying at any hotel chain!! A view like this, with conveniences like these, would cost so much more at a hotel chain for sure. Covered parking and security were added perks!! We didn't use the tennis courts while there, but thanks for providing the rackets and balls if we had decided to give it a try. :) The history behind Beacon Manor is very interesting to read about as well. Thanks for the provided literature about it and other places to see in HS!! Lots of books to choose from for leisurely reading provided as well. A person could just stay and relax at the condo, or be adventurous and see the sites, and then return to a comfortable and relaxing condo for a great night's sleep. Thanks again for a wonderful stay at your condo!! Thank you for sharing it with others to enjoy. Your neighbors there are also very friendly. Thanks again!!"

  • enjoyable stay

"Cozy cottage with oerfect space for our small family. Fishing pier within an easy walk down the hill. Even caught a fish ;). Loved the living room with the big picture windows and sky lights. There's a huge potted live tree in that room that I loved. The soaking tub on the back porch was nice and rustic. You're in the woods so, in the summer, be prepared for the insects. Seemed everytime we got in the car we'd have extra friends along for the ride. Ken, the owner, was friendly and easy to reach. Must stop by Heifer Ranch tgata nearby to learn about their international charity work. Had a wonderful time."

Making Your Way to Arkansas Vacation Rentals

The Little Rock National Airport is the largest airport in Arkansas. The airport hosts most major airlines in North America and has regular commercial connections to most major cities in the U.S. There are three smaller regional airports that host domestic and regional flights in and around the state. These can be found in Texarkana, Fort Smith and the Northwest region. For a more leisurely way to get around, why not do part of your journey on the Texas Eagle railroad? The route runs through the state of Arkansas from the northeast to the southwest, and stops in towns and cities such as Walnut Ridge, Little Rock, Malvern and Texarkana. The train runs twice daily. Because of the many outdoor attractions, most people like to drive around Arkansas. If you are not traveling by car from your hometown, you can arrange a rental from any one of the regional airports.

There are several important Native American sites, Civil War battle sites, and museums detailing the history and culture of the state. Best Season to Travel to Arkansas

The majority of Arkansas enjoys a humid subtropical climate which results in hot humid summers and cold dry winters. The northern regions of the state have a more temperate climate, owing to the higher elevation and mountainous regions. Your season of choice for traveling will largely depend on what activities you want to do. The winter months see snow over most of the northern region and snow sports can be enjoyed. In the summertime, the rainfall generally is characterized by dramatic thunderstorms which are relatively short-lived. As long as you are adequately prepared for rain, summertime is a great time of year to explore the many natural attractions that the state has to offer.
