  • Spring Break Stay

"What an ABSOLUTE FABULOUS place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful, serene, and such a peaceful spirit about the whole property. The owners, Gary and Becky are two fabulous people who really care about the comfort you receive during your stay and were wonderful to share all the rich history with the property. Truly the photos do NOT do this property justice -- it is even PRETTIER then what you see online. Don't bat an eye, don't think twice -- stay here….you will be SO glad you did - Thank you Gary and Becky!!!! Todd and Gina Swanson"

  • Great place for large family!

"Every year our extended family of 20 plus meet over the Martin Luther King Holiday. We have stayed in several different places the past few years in Northern/Central Arkansas. The Summit House tops them all. There was plenty of room for the kids, young adults and older adults to gather without being on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for the large group. The state park and trails provided endless entertainment for the group for hikes and site seeing. The view from the house were amazing, overlooking the river and town. We saw deer, birds, a flock of pelicans in the river and even a road runner. We will definitely return to the Summit House in the near future. The owners were great to personally answer questions before we got there. Fantastic weekend-wish we could have stayed longer."

  • Peaceful, beautiful view but, mostly hard to leave

"Robin: This was our first visit to the Light House. I hope our family can plan many more. Purpose for our trip to Petit Jean Mountain this past weekend was to place my Mother's cremated ashes next to my Dad at Ada Valley Cemetery. As you know we had lots of rain over the weekend. First part of day we were in park on trails when the weather cleared a little we knew that was our time to place Mama so we made a dash to Ada Cemetery. Our family of six adults and four children, 13 to 4 years in age, were the only people at the cemetery. From the moment we left the vehicles we were in a constant downpour. We had to laugh we looked like drowned rats and reminded us of the Griswold Family when they left their aunt on the patio. It was a happy and very memorable day. We all made a bee line back to the Light House. Got cleaned up,fixed dinner, settled down remembered the day listened to the thunder and watched the lightning and rain. It really was a perfect day in every way. The Light House was the glue. Everyone was so comfortable and felt at home. From the moment we turned into the driveway we knew this was a perfect location for our weekend. Everything about your home is so inviting and warm. The view is the icing on the cake. Have your other guest ever met the visiting opossum? We did. Sitting on the outer deck when something appeared, I had to put my glasses on and I was like, what the heck! Mr. opossum was walking straight towards us. Not the lest bit afraid of us. Stayed on our heels up to the house. Finally realized he was only looking for a snack. Later he returned for dinner. Robin, enjoyed talking with you. It is very obvious that you care about your guests and are always available if needed. Our family had a wonderful time. We do have plans to return. Thank You ! Patricia K."

  • Great vacation home in Eureka Springs

"We were looking for a place that would hole 14 people for a family reunion. Gaslight vacation home was perfect! It is within walking distance to downtown Eureka Springs, but still in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. The kids loved playing in the huge yard and they loved sleeping together in the huge up stair bedroom. Every bedroom (6 total) had its own private full bath and the house was very clean. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience."
