  • Best Christmas!

"I wanted really special accomodations to host family from near and far. Everyone was so pleased with this condo. The young adults loved the walking access to outstanding Dixon St. entertainment. The 85+ crowd had no trouble parking or negotiating entry. My favorite little gym with great classes and equipment is just across the street AND the kitchen was well enough equipped to make a stunning beef wellington for Christmas dinner. There were many vacancies in the area at Christmas. I wanted a srunning and memorable place and The Dixon delivered. Even feel like the owner is my new Arkansas friend!"

  • Relaxing Anniversary!

"This was one of the best rentals we've ever encountered. Not only was it easy to contact, pay, and organize this trip; we also had a great time. Hot Springs (village), AR is an area dear to my heart and we wanted to spend our anniversary there. This is one of the only locations that allowed dogs, which was also a plus. Linda was not only easy to work with she also gave us advise on where to go and how to make our trip at ease. The condo was exactly what we expected. Fully loaded all details on the site were on point (that's hard to accomplish these days!). We walked the trails, visit the local business and tourist areas, and used the local facilities. I loved how close the fitness center, tennis court, and lake were (the dogs loved it too :) We truly really enjoyed our trip. We would love to make this a traditional trip! Thank you so much"

  • Lake Living

"I have been going to Hardy since childhood at a YWCA camp, so it has special meaning to me. This is the first time I have rented a place, as I have friends I usually stay with, and I invited my son and daughter-in-law for the weekend. I arrived the first night with a girlfriend, and we were so impressed with everything. We sat on the deck as the sun went down, watching an amazing sky filled with lightening in the distance (no thunder), which illuminated and reflected off the lake. It couldn't have been a better introduction to the house. The two back bedrooms facing the lake have terrific views, so in the early morning it was equally beautiful seeing mist rising from the water. The location is quiet, and the homes adjacent and across the lake are well-maintained. I have skied Lake Thunderbird, so I am familiar with the layout. This little cove is too shallow for motorboats, but it can handle pontoon, or paddle boats. I used my canoe to paddle over to see friends who live on the lake. The cove is also too shallow for swimming, but I would gather the Summer months would make that a good thing when there is so many boats coming and going. The home is decorated as if it were a private home, and not a typical rental unit. The kitchen was even stocked with a KitchenAid mixer, which really surprised me. The appliances were top-notch. The bedding was cute, the decor was well-done, the bathrooms clean and nicely appointed. The house is clean-as-a-whistle. I had some leftover cake from a party, and actually found a cake plate with a cake dome to cover it; and I also needed scissors for a gift, and found them in a drawer. I noticed bandaids in the medicine cabinet, including large size toiletries. A lot of thought went into stocking this house. My only suggestions would be a hand-rail inside the bathtub (it was hard to get up without one); a full-length mirror; and the driveway swept clear of the Hickory nuts at this time of year. I swept it as I was afraid someone might slip on one, plus, they are very messy as they are driven over. All-in-all, I couldn't have asked for a better place to be in the Hardy area. (Oh, and it was nice to have a dog-friendly home for well-behaved pets. Its obvious the owners love dogs from all their great pictures and decor.) I would most certainly rent this lovely home again should the occasion arise, and will recommend it to friends."

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

"The Treehouse condo was beautiful! From the moment we stepped in we felt at home. Sami made our stay wonderful and relaxing. I would suggest staying here whether you simply need a weekend away or an extended holiday. This is such a wonderful place with beautiful views and inviting people (and amazing rock and crystal shops!). The hot tub, comfortable bed, and charming twinkle lights on the porch made the stay even more amazing. We definitely plan on becoming repeat visitors!"
