  • Wonderful Thanksgiving with 10 family members that live in Hot Springs & 10 who came in.

"6 adults & my 2 granddaughters (7 & 9) stayed at the house. On Thanksgiving we had 20 family eat there. My family really enjoyed the open space to visit & the beautiful view of the lake. Upstairs sat 15 people at 2 tables & the bar. The downstairs had a table with 4 chairs & we brought in a chair from deck. It was clean, comfortable and a nice place to visit. Was a bumper pool table but both sticks were broken, no problem, just more visiting & enjoying and catching-up with family. Rick & I bring our boat there almost every summer (580 miles). Now we have rented condo's but will get nephew & family to come & get this house. Lovely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home; winter or summer."

  • Wonderful getaway!

"We were very pleasantly surprised at the gorgeous view from the deck! Loved the fireplace at night, gas grill at the doorstep, amenities. Such beautiful sunsets...a very photogenic area. One very early morning the valley was filled with fog and a full moon still up shined down on it. We suggest trying the long way around the north part of Eureka Springs, the drive is scenic, not as steep and curvy, and there's two one lane bridges."

  • Comfortable and Friendly

"Thank you Gary and Cerise! Our stay at the rental house was perfect. With 4 kids it can be difficult to find affordable accommodations for vacations so the price was great and everyone slept comfortably both nights we stayed. The kids had a blast playing badminton and eating s'mores around the campfire. My wife and I were very pleased with the all room to fit everyone comfortably. Everyone really liked the New Orleans style snowballs (a must if you are ever in the area). Being located so close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park was ideal for taking a short break to return to the house for lunch. The digging equipment you had worked perfectly, saved us on the rental fees at the park and meant we could dig a little longer because we could use the equipment right up to closing time. We wish we had planned a longer trip to have time to take a walk up the street and poke through all the fun little shops in town, next time. We could not have asked for friendlier or more accommodating hosts. You have a great place and I will not hesitate to stay with you again the next time we are in the area. I recommend the Budget Diamond Hunters House to anyone looking for a place to stay in Murfreesboro, Arkansas."

  • great hide away!

"this house is full of charm! We found our host very attentive to our questions. I wish more recycling was more common. Coming from CA, I have grown up with responsible reuse. that is my only suggestion, but I understand every part of the world is different."
