  • Spoiled

"Yes, #55 is a home away from home. 2016 will be our 5th year--why ??? We are spoiled. There is no property to rent that is as special in every way in all of the Central Coast . It is spacious, well located , 2 car garage with easy access, has a marvelous open kitchen with everything the chef needs, and a sofa that accommodates everyone at one time. The condo has every amenity to make a lengthy stay comfortable. We find it hard to vacate after 3 weeks !!!! We have family coming and going and it is the highlight of their vacation time. The proximity to the beach , restaurants, our favorite Bill at Hula Hut across the street with all they have to offer, , the Friday Night farmers Market on the promenade with music and food booths, and the Avila Farm are attractions that we look forward to year after year. We just arrived home and can't wait to return ."

  • Perfect!

    Nancy I.

"We were in town to celebrate our son's graduation from Cal Poly and had three sets of families all renting homes/condos at Avila. We hosted dinner for 12 the first night, and had plenty of room between indoor and patio/deck seating to have a really great evening event. The condo's location can't be beat, the interior is wonderfully appointed and the owners are very responsive. We will definitely stay there again in the future."

  • Wedding Bliss

    Megan B.

"Comments from the Mother of the Bride - We came to celebrate our daughter's wedding at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch which is a half a mile away and enjoyed the facilities, ambiance, and healing environment of this lovely home. We had the wedding party and extended family to sprawl out in the spacious house. The home appears more beautiful than in the pictures and is even more comfortable than I could have imagined. The owner, Michiko is warm and friendly and thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable. We had a group of 13 and the space was perfect to accommodate our group. We stayed for three nights and four days and I wish we could have stayed longer. I believe another guest said the area surrounding the home is a magical place that is peaceful, quiet and serene and I concur. I hope to come back one day and enjoy the ambiance of the home and the healing waters of the jacuzzi and the warmth of the sauna. I highly recommend this lovely home. Comments from the Father of the Bride - The water smells like sulfur, but the effects of the odor are overshadowed by their healing effects when using the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi and waterfall have 4 rocker switches and three wall switches with 3 positions each, plus there is a thermostat for the jacuzzi switch along with a breaker. Make sure you takes notes on these operations, for I had too slow of a boot up with the switch matrix. A combination of 5 post it notes and a sharpie pen could fix that or, be sure to take notes when you get the briefing. You have access to TV but who needs tv when your in this serene area. On communication -We needed to coordinate with attendees, bridesmaids, and groomsmen and connectivity was a problem when trying to make arrangements with others staying in various hotels in the area. The house comes with a land line and Michiko provided us with the number upon our arrival. The house wifi allows for texting, but signal for cellular phone calls is a bit spotty. Plan for that before you arrive and you will embrace the value of this miraculous retreat. There was a family of 3 deer roaming in the area around the estate ( 1 doe and 2 fawns 'bambi') very warm and friendly. Enjoy"
