"I've booked many VRBO's and arrived to be disappointed in the state of repair or neglect of the property. This is not the case here. The house is beautiful and feels like a loved home. The location is gorgeous. I walked miles every day along West Cliff and my husband had a great time surfing. There's a great health food store just down the street. We will stay here again for sure!"

"My sister and I took my 73 year old mother on a road trip and we chose this year because of its close proximity to places we wanted to visit: Cayucos, Cambria, Paso Robles, Big Sur etc. This location was also half way between LA and San Fran and it worked perfectly for us as we were doing the Pacific drive LA to San Fran. We stayed at the Country House and loved every minute of our stay. The Country House is comfortable, clean, spacious, had the most beautiful view from the living area where you can have your meals - we took our meals outside mainly because it was so peaceful and serene we couldn't get enough of the surrounding. I had a chance to explore the surrounding areas, perfect for early morning runs or even outdoor Yoga. We cooked our meals daily as we are vegetarians and so the little farm was perfect for us, Luke grows the tastiest tomatoes in the entire world - seriously!!. Karen who manages the property is so welcoming, she is genuinely nice and easy to talk to - we loved her!! We will definitely be back for another visit in the near future."

"My husband found this home while searching for a place (for a group of 7) to stay while we were out in CA for a wedding. The place was perfect for a larger group. There are plenty of rooms and space so you have privacy. Fantastic outdoor areas and a big enough living room/kitchen for the group. It was perfect. We didn't want to leave!
The owners were easy to work with and prompt in giving us our deposit back."

"This townhouse is in a great location and walking distance to the aquarium and many restaurants. It has a really nice view, especially from upstairs. It has a private garage which is also a big plus. You also get access to free passes to the aquarium which is a must when you're visiting Monterey. We found that not having a television in the main living area was kind of an inconvenience. We aren't used to watching the news in the mornings and evenings from bed and would have preferred to have the only TV be in the living room. The other problem we had was the morning light in the bedroom. The windows are covered with white mini blinds that provide privacy but do not darken the room at all. If you don't want to get up with the sun this is a negative."
