"A wonderful place to stay! It had fantastic views of Aptos's beach front, could be seen right from the back patio. Great location, surrounded by a wonderful town with plenty of food and attractions to keep anyone satisfied on a vacation. All the essentials you need, including a full kitchen, outdoor grill, silverware, and dishes. Although this is a prime location, traffic is not a concern. Also the sleeping arrangements were very accommodating. On my trip, we had five people with us, and everyone had a comfortable place to stay. Also great shower and restroom. Aptos was a pleasant, quite neighborhood perfect for an ideal vacation. I would recommend this location to any of any age or any type of vacations you are trying to have. Not to mention the sun sets are amazing."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Perfect location! The attic is welcoming, very clean & comfortable. An easy walk to the downtown area with it's great restaurants & shops. Bruce (the owner) was a pleasure to work with, very attentive and friendly. This will become an annual event - would stay at Huston's attic again! A suggestion to Paso Robles Vacation Rentals is offering a military discount."

"We soon realised that 3 nights were not enough. This is a very well appointed, extremely comfortable home with plenty of space, spread over 3 floors. For us, though, the abiding memory will be of balmy nights relaxing on the top deck with a glass of wine (or two) in front of the fire in the outdoor fireplace. Bliss ! Susan is a relaxed and accommodating owner, who certainly went the extra mile to help us when we had a couple of small problems. Our enjoyment here was, in no small part, due to her. Carmel Valley seems a perfect base for the area, a peaceful haven away from the beautiful, but busy, coastline. We had good meals at both Cafe Rustica and Corkscrew Bistro in the village. Apart from Highway 1, a particular highlight of the area for us was Point Lobos State Reserve, with beautiful walks, stunning scenery and plenty of marine life on show. Thank you, Susan - we'll be back !"

"I took my dance team to San Luis Obispo for the weekend and we stayed in the Windmill House! It was a gorgeous, comfortable, cozy spot. The home was equipped with everything we could think of!
I have only one piece of advice to share - check your keys before leaving/splitting up your group! My key worked (I checked it before leaving), but one of my dancers ended up needing to wait at the house with her husband at 1AM until my carpool got back from SLO. I brought the issue up with the owner (the next morning) and she was very prompt at providing a solution. It was a slight hiccup and is now just a funny story!
The commute to SLO wasn't very long - and the drive over the Grade is beautiful in and of itself. We will definitely be back to the house next time we have dancing to do in SLO! Since I was teaching all weekend, I was really only at the house for pit stops in between commitments. Next time, I would love to be able to enjoy the house and the whole area more. We did not get to try either, but we know that wine tasting and zip lining are nearby. It's on our team to-do list for our next trip!
This was kind of a last minute reservation for us, so we definitely lucked out. I have never rented a house like this before, and I TOTALLY prefer it to renting rooms in a hotel. The whole experience was amazing. In a hotel, we would not have been as comfortable as we were, and we would have paid A LOT more.
The Windmill House. Yes yes YES!"
