"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The house offers comfort, recreation, a beautiful view, everything one could want for a fun and relaxing vacation. We were the first guests of the season, so there were a couple things that needed attention, but the owner quickly and graciously corrected them. You can tell the owner takes pride in his home and wants to make sure his guests enjoy their stay. The house is about 45 mins away from Paso Robles, so driving to town for meals is not really an option. Luckily, the kitchen is fully-equipped and there are gas and charcoal grills as well. There is also a “full-service” market less than 20 mins away, so one can shop there for groceries on the way to the house. We would love to return for another visit in the future."

"My wife was turning 40, so I wanted to plan a special vacation with friends in wine country to celebrate. This was billed as a huge house, so I thought it would be perfect for us to stay.
Arriving to the property is a bit tricky. We followed directions from our GPS, which was accurate most of the way. It had us overshoot the property by a quarter mile. The house is not visible from the street and the driveway is not marked with a house number. Once we found the correct driveway, we pulled in with plentiful parking space.
The home is huge with a complete gameroom, lots of decks, and plenty of chairs and couches allowing us to sprawl out comfortably. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with cooking supplies and appliances. There are more than enough glasses and dinnerware to go around. Another positive surprise is that the outdoor grill can use either propane or charcoal. The house was very clean and in good working order, indicating that both owners and renters showed respect for the property.
DURING OUR STAY
The home is everything we wanted for a getaway. It’s quiet day or night. There are neighbors, but they keep to themselves. During the days, we went winetasting, then returned to the house to cook ourselves dinner. Media-wise, the home has a large TV with satellite service. We did find a broken coffee pot (I guess these things happen when you have multiple tenants!). We picked up a new $15 coffee maker while in town and left it behind (our gift to the house). We had to have our coffee!
CAVEATS AND NITPICKS
Connectivity: The home does not have WiFi (not an issue for me, but some find it hard to disconnect). Those of us with AT&T received a strong, clear cellular signal. Folks with Verizon were out of luck.
Distance: Bring everything you need with you, as distance to town may be a factor and should be considered. Our daughter just began to have some teething pain, but we decided it would not be worth the two-hour round trip to a drug store and went with an alternate remedy instead.
Everyone in our group was happy with our stay. There was plenty of elbow room and it was fully stocked with all the appliances (washing machines, etc.) you’d want for an extended stay. I do recommend this property for anyone looking to explore the wineries or just as a lovely home to stay. It’s ideal for large groups. I look forward to returning on our next trip!"

"Beautiful well built and decorated home, only wish we all had in every room was more closet/dresser stowage space for weeks stay. Some issues with gas stove and ice maker that were called into manager. Nearest store is about 20 min drive so make sure u make list and check it twice. Further away than I preferred from wineries and long windy road but if staying in, the house is enjoyable. Nice patio and grill"

"Beautiful house that is mostly secluded with plenty of fun things to do at the house. Great view of the lake. Fun dock to relax and soak up some sun on. Owners were great, easy to work with and very warm and welcoming."
