"This is my first experience of renting a vacation home and what a wonderful experience it was! Let me begin by say I'm very picky! I viewed a number of properties that claimed to be "shabby chic" and immediately decided that I was seeing too much shabby in the pictures! The photos of this home appealed to me because everything looked bright and clean. The pictures match the reality. This is a very beautiful home on a great, quiet street. I found that the description of the home also accurately reflected the true reality of the property. I was totally jaded from multiple hotel stays in the last year - mostly work related. This home has a great kitchen and it was so nice to be able to get up and brew decent coffee, stroll around in PJs, and go back to bed if I felt like it! We hit Trader Joes in San Luis Obispo on the way here and stocked up on a few easy cooking options - and some good wine of course! There are amazing walking trails immediately adjacent to the home and we SO much enjoyed that. Thank you Cynthia and Dwight for your swift, friendly responses to all queries both before and during our stay here. It was a wonderful vacation and I can't wait to get back here again!"

"Amazing. Enchanting. Unique. Serene. Magnificent. My husband and I were married at the Wind and Sea over Fourth of July weekend. Our guests were stunned by the beauty of the property. The ocean views are spectacular. The sound of waves crashing mixed with the sea gulls cry and the sea lions bark all come together to form beautiful music as you soak in twin copper tubs gazing at the star filled sky. I can't recommend this property enough. We will be back."

"We stayed here for a week with a bunch of family. There was 3 couples and a baby in the house and it never felt crowded or loud at all. The house is waaay bigger than it seems in the pictures. Took us about 3 days to get used to the layout as it's a bit like a maze, in a fun way. The place was well stocked with everything you might need. The property has a huge driveway. We managed to fit a large RV on it as well as three cars. The owner does allow RVs for a small fee. It was about 7min walk to the beach at the end of the road. Very quiet neighbourhood. The owner was responsive to emails and calls. We had an issue with where we parked the RV (the renters at the neighbouring property, also owned by this owner, didn't like it). The owner was apologetic and her and the live-in caretaker in this house helped us work out a solution.
The only downsides I can think of for the property is that its upstairs (didn't bother us) and that there are some low ceilings here and there from the roof line. We're all quite tall so we banged our heads a few times before getting the gist of it. Definitely recommend this place and for the price, it's a great value."
