  • Amazing home and SPECTACULAR views!

""Wow!!" was the most common phrase heard from everyone who was a part of our group. This home is absolutely amazing! There is ample sleeping and our group of 9 adults and 4 kids was very comfortably accommodated. The game room complete with pool table and ping pong was very popular with both adults and children. There were strollers and high chairs available as well, which was very convenient for the younger kids. I cannot say enough about how amazing the views are. We loved waking up each morning and seeing how beautiful Morro Bay looked from the many decks and windows located around the house. The view was just a grand throughout the day, and breathtaking at night. The home is so close to everything you could want to do in the area. Montana de Oro State Park is literally right up the street. Morro Bay is a short drive. San Luis Obispo was about 20 minutes away. Not a bad drive at all. And the Bob Jones trail was an awesome way to spend an afternoon and bike to Avila Beach. This area is simply amazing and you could not find a better home to enjoy it from. So nice to have such a welcoming place to come home to after spending time at tide pools, biking, golfing, hiking, or shopping. My family and I will certainly be coming back here every time we visit the area."

  • Wanted to Stay Longer!

"Of the many places we’ve had the good fortune to stay, this was one of our favorites. The cottage is in a wonderful location, on the water, at the south end of Morro Bay. The cottage immediately felt like home to us. It is well decorated with an eclectic mix of styles, items and books. The bed is very comfortable, there is a living room area with a large collection of DVDs and there is a kitchen and dining area that opens to the deck. It was hard to leave the deck with the beautiful sunrises, variety of birds and beautiful sunsets, all with Morro Rock the distance. We had excellent weather, so we spent a lot of time here eating or taking in the view. The location right on the water is very peaceful and the cottage is positioned to give you lots of privacy. While hard to leave, the cottage is an excellent base for the great things to do on the Central Coast. We enjoyed hiking in nearby Montana de Oro, but in addition to the nearby town of Morro Bay, you are within striking distance of the wine country and even Hearst Castle. Our hosts, Pandora and Gary, were friendly and helpful, while respecting our privacy and not being intrusive. Pandora is an artist and former graphic designer, and her good taste and sharp eye show in the way the cottage is decorated. We’ll definitely be back and will definitely stay longer!"

  • Sun room and Hot tub!!

"Beautifully appointed home with an excellent location for hiking or relaxing on the deck with spectacular views. It was very hard to leave. Everything was exactly as described and pictured with lots of extras for an extremely enjoyable stay. We were two families with adult children and we all found our special places and comfy spots in this home. The sun room was the morning favorite and the hot tub was such a treat in the evenings after our days outing. I would highly recommend this home for any family who enjoys coastal views and local hiking. The owner was very helpful and accommodating for our needs. We hope to return in the near future."

  • Home away from home

"We love traveling to destination spots like Morro Bay and SLO but love staying in quiet non touristy areas. This place provided exactly that and more. Home away from home while vacationing with the family. Great quiet & cozy town with friendly people everywhere. Beautiful custom home with charm and privacy. Plenty comfy for 6 active people. Loved the furnishings, feel and decor. Bathrooms and kitchen were spacious, bright and clean. Spa and dry sauna and outdoor shower were heavenly after long days hiking and sightseeing. We LOVED our stay, were excited for this great find and would return every time to this home if re visiting Central Coast."
