  • Family Beach Weekend

"This was by far one of the BEST VRBO experiences for our family. The home is modern, spacious and has amenities beyond expectation, plus the beautiful Pacific. We flew in from all over the northwest and were able to spend quality time together and with our SoCal family. Instead of spending all of our time traveling around the county to visit, they came to us. The location is relaxed, yet close enough to grocery stores, shopping areas, scenic touring, etc. The large kitchen, outdoor kitchen, sitting & dining areas were accommodating beyond expectation! Bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels ... the list goes on for your perfect beach outings."

  • Simply Amazing!

"Family Retreat ~ "I spent my 60th birthday at this lovely home with my 4 sisters. We had a very memorable week full of fun and laughter. This house is charming beyond words. We rode bikes every day from the house. We kayaked at Lake Casitas, took the sunset cruise on the lake toured the Krishna Murti Library , had a glimpse of the famous Pink Moment mountain sunset. Enjoyed drinks and fun in the village. We began every morning with coffee on the porch and ended every night at the house with a fire. We all were so sad to leave and hope to come back again. The House is fabulous! Being a bunch of ladies we had some fabulous meals right from our own kitchen. Just a wonderful relaxing week! Lisa was a gracious hostess!""

  • Absolutely Perfect for Us!

"My graduate student son had to be in Santa Barbara for a career-related event. I reserved Creekside Montecito for his stay. He visited alone and absolutely loved Creekside Montecito! As I understand it, Creekside Montecito is an adorable cottage-y, apartment-style accommodation on the top floor of a structure that is separate from the main home on the property. It is very private and quiet and welcoming. His favorite things about it, in no particular order: Breakfast! Nicola had stocked the refrigerator with the next day's breakfast foods before he arrived. What a nice touch! He loved that he could nibble at his convenience, whenever he was hungry, night or day. And then he got to place an order from a list of great options for the second day's breakfast. He sent me a picture. It looked like it came straight off the pages of an entertaining magazine. Two hard-boiled eggs in the most adorable speckled blue, egg-shaped bowl, a big toasted bagel with butter, fresh raspberries, and blueberry yogurt. A gorgeous presentation. He was in heaven. Friendly, helpful host. He felt so comfortable with Nicola from the start. She was very accommodating, approachable, and helpful. The place was perfect in every way, so no special needs arose, but he did appreciate her kindness and approachability. She showed him around on check-in, answered his questions about the local area, and gave him tips on where to run, eat, etc. The "apartment" was super clean and cute. Spotlessly clean, very aesthetically pleasing, tons of ambiance. Perfect! Great location. My son was there on business and had very little money to spend (student), but he had lots of fun in between, and Montecito Creekside was the perfect launching point. He went on several runs -- along the beach, through parks, all around the very cute neighborhood. He sent plenty of great pictures. Beautiful! His business events were just 10 minutes away in the southern portion of Santa Barbara. Excellent cafes nearby. Beautiful gardens. Scenery. The beach and ocean. There's a neighborhood path right by Creekside Montecito that goes down to the beach. He had a blast, and nearly all of it for free! This was a real win. My son and I would highly recommend this place! Making the arrangements with Nicola was super easy. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Pricing was right. I might make a visit myself someday! :) Thank you, Nicola and Cliff!"

  • Perfect

"We were very happy with the house and would stay there again in a heartbeat! Our party was 5 adults. Having 3 bedrooms (one queen and two kings)and 3 endnote bathrooms was perfect for our needs. The third bedroom is accessed by way of the second bedroom. As there is a sliding door opening onto the terrace and then through another door into the house which we used to avoid the privacy issues. The house is well appointed although we only cooked one meal it was nice to know that the kitchen was more than adequate. The house is clean and quiet. It's a little dated but that doesn't deter from the comfort that the house provides. There is parking for 2 cars which was ample. The walk to Carmel town centre takes about 25 minutes. The homeowners are very pleasant. We had a very minor issue (couldn't find the coffee maker) which was addressed and sorted within hours."
