  • Perfect spot for a visit to Monterey

"This little one bedroom cottage is terrific. Tucked in behind the main house on a quiet street it offers a spacious, comfortable and very convenient place from which to access the attractions of Monterey. There is a major shopping centre a short walk away including a wholefoods store. The wharf and shops and cafes are quite walk-able, but you might want to drive to the aquarium. (we walked, but we were glad to catch a lift back). We were staying with our adult son and there was plenty of space for all of us without feeling cramped. All in all - highly recommended!"

  • Beautiful location and great condo

"This was exactly what we needed and wanted. Clean, comfortable unit with three excellent bedrooms, unobstructed views of the water right on the beach (actually separated by about 100' of native plantings/groundcover), with peaceful deck right off the living room and master bedroom. The Monterey Dunes Colony in which this is located is not right in the middle of everything, but rather in a more isolated area of Monterey Bay, directly adjacent to agricultural fields on the landward side. As such, it's quiet, peaceful, and soulful. Yet it's only about a 20 minute drive into Monterey, so it's convenient too. I'd highly recommend staying at Randy's place and hope we can return for another stay soon too."

  • Wonderful home and responsive host

"This house was very clean and comfortable. It came stocked with all of things you'd want in a rental home and was in a very nice location. The host was also very accommodating of my last minute request and was very responsive. I'd highly recommend this home if you are looking for a rental in the area. It is very easy to get to the home from the highway, even at night and when you're not familiar with the area. The only downside is its not a short walk to some of the places you might want to go like the beach or Carmel, but it's a very short and easy drive."

  • Comfortable and quiet place near Monterey Area.

"Great place to stay---very easy to get to Monterey/Carmel and area. House is really clean, quiet and comfortable with some fun farm touches. Area feels rural, but is right off the freeway, so easy access. Would stay again if traveling to that area."
