"You will love your visit to the Little Jewel Box. The owner has taken great care in the design and maintenance of this property. Expect great communication and be prepared to treat this home like the treasure it is with no shoes inside. I hope other renters will continue to use care when they visit so The Little Jewel Box is in as lovely condition the next time I visit! I will definitely stay here again. The space heater in the little guest bedroom was handy and served to add just the right amount of white noise for my little one to sleep. While the home is small it is also well designed and well appointed so I had no space issues whatsoever for storing my things or moving around the home comfortably."Guest: Carrie D. "Thank you Susan and Rod for providing such a wonderful place to stay. The River Road wine tour was fantastic, as was our visit to Carmel By The Sea, but some of the best times of this trip were simply sitting on the deck overlooking the beautiful valley below. Perfect location for day trips south and west. Very quiet and relaxing place to unwind, and we loved visiting the horses, goats, and of course, Bea and Weenie. :-)"Guest: Andrew Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 26, 2014View listing

"This house was very clean and comfortable. It came stocked with all of things you'd want in a rental home and was in a very nice location. The host was also very accommodating of my last minute request and was very responsive. I'd highly recommend this home if you are looking for a rental in the area. It is very easy to get to the home from the highway, even at night and when you're not familiar with the area. The only downside is its not a short walk to some of the places you might want to go like the beach or Carmel, but it's a very short and easy drive."Guest: James Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 27, 2014View listing
