  • Wonderful Vacation

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Palms and this stay was as enjoyable as the last. Since we had such a great time last time, we invited our best friends to join us. John is a bit of a "workaholic" and he took time to spend every morning on the beach and read an entire book. He said that it was the most relaxed he has been in years. As for us,we are from the foothills where the temperature has hovered in the 90's for the past three months. The 73 degrees at the beach was wonderful. The house was immaculate and the kitchen was great for two good Italian cooks. We went whale watching on the catamaran and the skipper stayed out until we say a Humpback and calf. Our dog Tootsie had a wonderful time on the beach."

  • Location suitable for all

"4 of us stayed for 5 nights at the main house, this house was fantastic just what we needed, right in the heart of everything, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well set up and the boys loved the coffee shop across the street and we went to kitty's kitchen next door, the locals are all very friendly and welcoming especially the bar up the street. The beach, shops and restaurants were only a short walk, we had a great time here and would definitely return to stay at this location and house."

  • What a jewel of a find

"Rick and Christine, we totally enjoyed our stay in your cozy guest house. You are great hosts! The house was clean and well equipped. We loved hearing the bouy off in the distance and the humming birds in the garden. The location was perfect for our stay as we spent some time with family that were camping at the Morro Bay RV Park. There is plenty to do in and near the area, and wonderful restaurants everywhere. We look forward to staying with you again in the future. Thank you so much."

  • Bekki

"This is a very beautiful home. Well kept and taken care of. We were a bit surprised at the distance actually from the beach. Also the view was not what we had expected. Lots of seagulls on the roof between the balcony and the beach they like to join you if you eat a meal on the balcony. Also has 4 stories with a bathroom on the top floor and a bathroom on the bottom(basement) floor. None on the family room or kitchen floors. Was just a lot of stairs for someone over 70. Also make sure it you are going to the grocery store to take your own bags. This town now charges $.10 a bag for any needed. This would be a great place for couples out to do whale watching and wine tasting. By the way Sun and Surf provides great whale watching tours right off from the Embarcadero."
