Great to relaxxx listen to birds, frogs at night go for a walk to the gardens, amazing. I took my wife for a surprise birthday she is still not over it yet, after 1 month we still talk about this more thing go shopping before you go up there you do not want to go back into town, no need. At night you will be amazed about the night sky check it out for yourself you will not believe it. Thanks again Kim"

  • Ojai Magic!

"My wife and I escaped the hectic San Fernando Valley for a weekend in Ojai and we are so glad that we discovered this gem! The two of us, plus our dog, stayed two nights in the one-bedroom, full-bath suite. The first night we spent sipping wine on the front porch under the beautiful Ojai sky enjoying the pleasant temperature. We began Saturday with a leisurely (five to ten minute) walk into Downtown for breakfast (dog friendly patio seating), followed by a hike (with dog) in the nearby (ten minute drive) mountains, and ended the afternoon renting a pontoon boat (with dog) on Lake Casitas. In the evening, we again walked into town for a delicious dinner. Although surrounded by other homes, we felt secluded during our getaway. We hope to revisit soon! The owner's have a done a wonderful job with this property and were very easy to communicate with!"

  • A Slice of Paradise

"We recently spent three nights at the Love Shack in beautiful Ojai. The property is only a few miles outside of town, yet easily accessible for any needs. Our tiny cabin sat directly above a beautiful stream of alternating ponds and rapids. The loudest noises were from the water during the day and the frogs in the evenng. It was so peaceful! We drove a few miles further north and hike in Matilija Canyon, another beautiful area to explore. We enjoyed wine tasting at Old Creek Winery, located just a few miles to the south. We enjoyed great meals at Suzanne's and Azu Restaurants. We enjoyed a restful, yet active half-week. The cabin itself is very retro, but the queen bed is quite comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but doable. Our favorite feature was the old fashion heating stove in the living room. The property itself feels like it is far away, even though it is definitely not. We definitely hope to return again!"

  • The Most Relaxing Stay in Ojai!

"My husband and I rented this casita for a 3 night stay and had an amazing time. The property is close to town, but when you are here, you feel like you are in another world. It's so serene and relaxing. The casita was very comfortable and perfect for a couple. The front porch looks out to the pool and was stocked with pretty much anything you might need. We enjoy being able to cook some of our own meals on vacation so the kitchen was perfect to do do. Maida was unbelievably hospitable; she called to personally welcome us and was available to answer questions about Ojai and give recommendations. It was like having the sweetest concierge EVER. She was so great at giving us privacy, but we could reach out to her if we had a question or needed something. Each morning we got fresh eggs from the hens to make breakfast, so unique, and made the trip extra fun. After going on beautiful hikes in the day, we would settle in at the pool to enjoy the late afternoon sun and a drink and just relax. We fell in love with this casita and the town and valley of Ojai - we will be back! Some tips while you are visiting: - Go to Meditation Mount for sunset - Ojai Beverage Co had fun beer and wine tasting + great food for lunch - We took the hike to the left off Shelf Road and loved the views. I think it was called Fox Loop / Pratt Trail (we think?!) - The Strawberry Shortcake at Boccoali's was out of this world - I had a great massage at New Leaf, but call for an appointment and be asked to be placed in the private room. The other treatment area only had a curtain and you could hear people in the boutique. - Nosu Vita (orange chairs on patio) had live music on Saturday night, really fun. Overall, best time ever! I hope you can enjoy the magic of Ojai here like we did!!!"
