"This beach house was truly a home away from home for me and my Mom for Oct/Nov ('14) and then again for me the first week in December. It was such a wonderful experience, from start to finish, I don't even know where to begin. Ok, I'll start with the fact that Gary & Maxine are FANTASTIC...a dream to do business with. I felt as though I was communicating with dear friends.
The beach house is spacious, it was more than enough room for my needs and yet somehow managed to still feel cozy. The balconies/terraces off of the master bedroom and the living room were delightful to enjoy breakfast, late afternoon coffee/tea, or a glass of wine from, and the view of the ocean and sunsets was FABULOUS. I wish I could post even one of my photos of the magnificent sunsets we were treated to. The beds were SUPER comfortable and please know that I am very picky about my sleep comfort. Even the daybed in the entertainment/rec room downstairs is luxurious and had my mom sleeping like a baby. The kitchen is wonderful and provided plenty of counter space, and was stocked with plenty of dishes, flat wear, pots & pans, spices, etc...The fireplace in the spacious loft-like living room/kitchen area was a real treat.
The neighborhood is wonderful, upscale, safe, and quiet, with great dining options nearby. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs. Olsen's Coffee Shop...I can still smell the divine plate of steak & eggs I had on my last morning there. Bike rentals at the Marina are a short 2 minute drive away and there's plenty to do if your so inclined or you can relax and enjoy watching the surfers, frolicking dogs on the beach, kids at play, people flying kites & remote controlled air planes...you get the idea.
The neighborhood has a relaxed, friendly, inviting feel to it that is truly welcoming and wonderful. I hope to be back soon.
Many thanks Gary & Maxine"
