  • Absolutely WONDERFUL!

"We just got back from a WONDERFUL birthday weekend get away to Paso. We stayed in the Call Booth house with two other couples and just can NOT say enough about how much we loved this place! First off, let me say that it is a gorgeous historical home! It was amazingly spacious and decorated perfectly! Vintage-y without being Granny-ish! The bedrooms were large and the beds were SO comfortable, with very nice linens. It was Immaculate! The kitchen was very large and lent itself well to preparing group meals (which we did a lot of). Everything that you needed was on hand and there were plenty of pots/pans/utensils/plates...etc to get the job done! The location couldn't be beat! We walked to the heart of downtown paso in 5 min (and...ahem...stumbled home, safely without having to drive! bonus!). We will NEVER stay any where but here for every visit that we make to Paso! Thanks so much for the use of your lovely home, Maryann!"

  • Perfect location and amenities in Paso

"This was my first VRBO experience and so I was somewhat cautious, particularly since my parents were also staying with us. Thankfully the experience exceeded my expectations and we will return to this spot when our travels bring us to the central coast again. Four of us (2 - 30 somethings with 2 - 60 somethings) spent 4 nights here and the accommodations were excellent for experiencing all that Paso had to offer. Here are the most positives for this rental unit. Excellent communication with the owner - prior to rental all my questions were promptly answered. We also requested a duplicate key during our stay and that was promptly provided. Very clean unit from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the living room areas. Fabulous location - we enjoyed walking to the old town square area for some great meals. Good wifi connectivity. A fully stocked kitchen if you want to enjoy your wine on the deck and relax for dinner at home. It was wonderful to have a private garage for our vehicle. Beyond that, the place was nicely furnished and seemed to have all we needed for our short visit to wine country. Here are the negatives of the place. The 2 bedroom unit is on the second floor, so if stairs are hard for you, be warned. You must walk up one flight of stairs to access your unit. That was no problem for us, but may cause some people problems. We did request replacement light bulbs that were burned out in a bathroom. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, but they weren't replaced during our stay. Like I mentioned earlier, this will be our first choice for accommodations on a return trip to Paso. Thanks for a great VRBO experience."

Paso Robles Travel Tips

Paso Robles Vacation Homes Reduce Stress

When traveling with friends or family members to California, think about what amenities you need the most. One of the greatest benefits of staying in Paso Robles vacation homes instead of a hotel is that you can take advantage of multiple bathrooms. By having multiple bathrooms, everyone will be able to get ready at the same time and if you have kids, you can assign one of the bathrooms to them so that you can have privacy in Paso Robles vacation homes. If you are on vacation with another couple, it is nice for each couple to have their own bathroom also.

A Winter Wonderland

California is a favorite vacation destination year round for many reasons. While the Pacific Ocean beckons many in the summer, others like to visit during the winter to go skiing, tubing, and sledding. Hot chocolate, luxurious spas and fireplaces welcome winter visitors who like to play in the snow. Couples or families renting Paso Robles lodging will have the time of their lives in one of the California Central Coast vacation rentals, in the winter or the summer. When looking for a vacation destination the entire family will enjoy, California has something to offer everyone.

Fine Wineries in the Area

Individuals who are passionate about vineyards and wine tasting will want to visit Paso Robles, California. Tobin James Cellars is one of the favorite wineries in the region near Paso Robles lodging. Many individuals like it for its laid back atmosphere. In addition, it has some of the best wines in the region, according to locals and visitors. The Mitchella Vineyard and Winery is another favorite winery; although it is smaller, many individuals like smaller wineries and rave about the friendly staff. Visit as many vineyards and wineries as you desire, as this is an area that caters to wine enthusiasts.
