"Ron is the man. He made it completely simple and seamless to get in and situated. Clean linens, extensive instructions for anything we may need, recommendations for wineries & transportation, instructions for the spa etc etc were right there on the front table when we got in with a hand written "welcome" from him. The place is in great condition and very clean. The upstairs patio was an awesome spot for grilling the first night and a scenic breakfast with some bubbly before heading out to the wineries for the day. Overall, a great experience 2 minutes from downtown... you can't beat it."

"My wife was turning 40, so I wanted to plan a special vacation with friends in wine country to celebrate. This was billed as a huge house, so I thought it would be perfect for us to stay.
Arriving to the property is a bit tricky. We followed directions from our GPS, which was accurate most of the way. It had us overshoot the property by a quarter mile. The house is not visible from the street and the driveway is not marked with a house number. Once we found the correct driveway, we pulled in with plentiful parking space.
The home is huge with a complete gameroom, lots of decks, and plenty of chairs and couches allowing us to sprawl out comfortably. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with cooking supplies and appliances. There are more than enough glasses and dinnerware to go around. Another positive surprise is that the outdoor grill can use either propane or charcoal. The house was very clean and in good working order, indicating that both owners and renters showed respect for the property.
DURING OUR STAY
The home is everything we wanted for a getaway. It’s quiet day or night. There are neighbors, but they keep to themselves. During the days, we went winetasting, then returned to the house to cook ourselves dinner. Media-wise, the home has a large TV with satellite service. We did find a broken coffee pot (I guess these things happen when you have multiple tenants!). We picked up a new $15 coffee maker while in town and left it behind (our gift to the house). We had to have our coffee!
CAVEATS AND NITPICKS
Connectivity: The home does not have WiFi (not an issue for me, but some find it hard to disconnect). Those of us with AT&T received a strong, clear cellular signal. Folks with Verizon were out of luck.
Distance: Bring everything you need with you, as distance to town may be a factor and should be considered. Our daughter just began to have some teething pain, but we decided it would not be worth the two-hour round trip to a drug store and went with an alternate remedy instead.
Everyone in our group was happy with our stay. There was plenty of elbow room and it was fully stocked with all the appliances (washing machines, etc.) you’d want for an extended stay. I do recommend this property for anyone looking to explore the wineries or just as a lovely home to stay. It’s ideal for large groups. I look forward to returning on our next trip!"

"My husband and I eloped for our wedding ceremony, but needed a space for our family to gather and celebrate at a later date. This property was perfect! We rented the entire property (Hacienda, Country House, and Barn) for a long weekend. This larger house served as the hub for us. The commercial kitchen was perfect for a large group breakfast the day of the party. The large dining area and deck was perfect for all to enjoy group meals. The property is close to wineries, Hearst Castle, downtown Paso Robles and Templeton so guests were able to take day trips and enjoy the area. The 46 acre grounds were enjoyed by all - it was awesome to look out off the deck and see our guests roaming the property and enjoying the great outdoors. Everyone loved the property and wanted to stay longer! Karen, the property manager, and all other employees were so friendly and helpful. We genuinely loved every minute of our stay! We will definitely be back!"
